"Professional and reliable are 2 words that come to mind when describing Merit. Like most pet parents, we were concerned, maybe even a bit nervous about using a cat sitting service and leaving your loved pets (ours being fabulous cats) in the care of a stranger. However, after meeting Merit and spending time with her, those feelings were put to rest.
I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was to receive her daily updates with lots of kitty cat photos of our family. This small gesture allowed us to enjoy our time away with peace of mind.
Upon our return it was very evident that our cats were well taken care of, and apparent that our kitty cat family received their regularly scheduled feeding times, had clean litter boxes and enjoyed lots of attention, snuggles and play time while we were away.

"It has been a pleasure connecting with Anita through Pawshake. At our first meeting, it was clear that Anita had a lot of knowledge and experience supporting and caring for animals - she was incredibly attentive in her introductions with my cats and did a thorough assessment of their needs with me to prepare for their care. Anita was very professional throughout the experience - prompt responses to my initial outreach, quick to come and meet my two cats, and connected daily while I was away with updates on their care. My cats are rescue animals and so they have a lot of special needs and cautiousness around others, and Anita was both confident to take on this care work, and managed to build strong relationship/rapport with my cats in a way that a lot of other cat sitters haven’t been able to. I was thoroughly impressed with Anita and the great care they provide - I both hope to keep connecting with Anita in the future for support and would highly recommend connecting with her. "If I could give Michelle a 10 stars out of 5 I would!! Communication was excellent, and her care and treatment of our bunnies was exceptional! Michelle let us know everyday how our bunnies were doing, with photos and video. When one bunny made an extra mess, Michelle reached out to ask if I had a deodorizer, and then had to hunt it down when I told her where we kept it. To me, that is going above and beyond to keep our bunnies happy and healthy. From the very first communication I felt very comfortable with Michelle, and she only impressed me more with our in-person meeting. Michelle obviously loves animals and immediately treated our bunnies with kindness and affection. I would highly recommend Michelle (and her lovely partner Dennis) and I will definitely hire her again myself. "

"Cailey has taken care of my cats twice now and both times I knew they were in excellent hands. They quickly accepted her whereas normally, at least one of my cats hides from new cat sitters. Aside from feeding them and cleaning the litter, she made them feel loved and cared for in my absence. They hardly cared that I was gone. I would highly recommend Cailey if you need an excellent cat sitter! I know my cats can't wait until they get to see her again."

"Zoei was a saviour to my family during the 2024 holidays. The person who was taking care of my two cats had to travel due to a family emergency and I had to find a cat sitter immediately. I’ve used PAWSHAKE a few years ago and knew there was a chance to find someone I could trust. PAWSHAKE marched my cats and location with a few sitters. Zoei got my attention for her rating, availability and also for her tracked record of responding fast to queries. On top of that she has pet Guinea pigs and I thought that she’s a person one can trust. I contacted her via the PAWSHAKE app, it all worked perfectly. Zoei responded within the hour to my ask and we arranged a quick meeting with my friend who was leaving the next day. They met and Zoei gave a great vibe and my cats liked her because she was gentle and kind. We agreed to the booking and Zoei visited twice a day during six days. Every time she would communicate with me and share photos of my kitties. I returned home to happy and well taken-care-of kitties. Zoei thank you! You are one of the best cat sitters and I recommend you very much. "

"Sonia was the first cat sitter I've ever contacted to take care of my young and shy cat. I was super nervous to leave the cat for the first time for almost a week but Sonia made the experience so smooth! She is experienced, very responsible, punctual, organized, and kind to animals. My skittish cat went from hiding from Sonia (as she does with all strangers) to trusting and even playing a little! Sonia provided me with daily updates (plus photos) and was responsive to all my questions. I really appreciate Sonia's service and couldn't dream of a better cat sitter! "I was initially nervous about leaving our cats alone for an extended period, but our experience with Marco and Laura exceeded all expectations.
They took care of our cats as if they were their own, petting them, spoiling them with treats, and playing with them during each visit.
We received tons of lovely pictures, and we even got a wonderful surprise with some physical photos of our cats in our house. It was amazing to come home and find that thoughtful gift.
One of our cats is usually very shy, but she was surprisingly confident around them and even let them brush her. They also went above and beyond by helping us with an issue in our apartment, enabling us to take swift action before it got worse.
Their service is truly exceptional, and we feel confident that we've found the best cat sitters around—they are now officially our cats' godparents!"
