"Professional and reliable are 2 words that come to mind when describing Merit. Like most pet parents, we were concerned, maybe even a bit nervous about using a cat sitting service and leaving your loved pets (ours being fabulous cats) in the care of a stranger. However, after meeting Merit and spending time with her, those feelings were put to rest.
I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was to receive her daily updates with lots of kitty cat photos of our family. This small gesture allowed us to enjoy our time away with peace of mind.
Upon our return it was very evident that our cats were well taken care of, and apparent that our kitty cat family received their regularly scheduled feeding times, had clean litter boxes and enjoyed lots of attention, snuggles and play time while we were away.

In addition to feeding, watering, littering, Gabrielle also groomed, played and bonded with my cat. Every visit was followed with a summary of how things went along with a gallery of photos. "It has been a pleasure connecting with Anita through Pawshake. At our first meeting, it was clear that Anita had a lot of knowledge and experience supporting and caring for animals - she was incredibly attentive in her introductions with my cats and did a thorough assessment of their needs with me to prepare for their care. Anita was very professional throughout the experience - prompt responses to my initial outreach, quick to come and meet my two cats, and connected daily while I was away with updates on their care. "Sonia was the first cat sitter I've ever contacted to take care of my young and shy cat. I was super nervous to leave the cat for the first time for almost a week but Sonia made the experience so smooth! She is experienced, very responsible, punctual, organized, and kind to animals. My skittish cat went from hiding from Sonia (as she does with all strangers) to trusting and even playing a little!
