I am a 21 year old student at Douglas College in the prerequisite program for psychiatric nursing, starting the psychiatric nursing program in january. I am originally from Kelowna, I have moved here for school and am residing in the Coquitlam area. I love pets but unfortunately I cannot have any where I live. I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, in my hometown I have 4 dogs at my mums house, 2 mini dachshunds, 1 australian shepherd, and 1 golden retriever, as well as a cat. I have also grown up around german shepherds. I have mainly trained my australian shepherd as I was older when I got her, but i love working on new and different tricks with her. At my dads we also have a maltese mix and a cat. I am always that one person who has to stop for every dog that walks by me. I have always had animals around, this allows me to still have those interactions, which I love. I love pet sitting for others as it allows me to still interact with animals. I am looking to build a clientele here in Coquitlam. I have a huge passion for animals and would love to take care of yours. I can check in on your animal, feed them. walk them, take them to parks, or let them out for potty breaks.

Hi my name is Sydney! I am 19 years old and the assistant manager of a vet clinic in West Kelowna! I have been a vet asssitant for 4 years and am very passionate about taking care of animals :) I used to live in Kamloops but I moved here in October for a change. I am unable to take pets into my own home but am able to come and stay at yours. I have pet sat for family friends over the years but am now wanting to offer my services to other's as I don't have my pets here with me and love to hang out with animals. At my home in Kamloops I have 2 cats named Belley and Tiny ( my little brother named Tiny haha ), and a dog named Leo! I mainly have experience with dogs and cats but am open to other animals as well! I've also had experience with horses and farm animals. I am a quiet and clean person who will take very good care of your pet and house while you're away! :)
My services: house sitting (staying at your home): feed, care for, and play with your babies. I have only stayed with cats and dogs as well as on ranches but am totally open to other pets. Checking on pets while you're away (1-2 times per day): stopping into your house 1-2 times per day to feed and care for your pet, most suitable for cats. Dog walking: taking your dog for a walk for your desired amount of time! 


Hi, My name is Luz but everyone calls me Lucy, I started this lovely journey in Canada 7 years ago. In all this time I have traveled and experienced the most amazing and wonderful moments, I learned a new language from scratch, I immerse myself in new cultures, and I also started a new career path, hospitality and tourism management, that combine 2 of my biggest passions in life (travel/customer service). My idea is to keep discovering this beautiful world, I had lived in 4 countries (Ecuador, Colombia, Germany, Canada) and traveled in 25, and I'm hoping to experience more and more. 
About my personality, I can tell you that I'm the kind of positive person that I stay happy no matter what, life is too short to be sad :). I don't smoke, I do not like drugs, and I love camping and being in nature. I'm very organized and clean, I just love to keep everything tidy, there is nothing better than a clean house, a good book, and a glass of wine on a rainy day, right? :). and I'm also very handy, even if I don't know something, I always look for a way around it to solve it, I focus on the solutions, not the problems, and I am a very fast learner.
I'm a natural pet lover, I being having pets all my life. When I first moved to Canada I bring my 10-year-old cat (XiXita) with me from my home country but sadly she passed away a year after. since then, I have been unable to have another pet due to the no-pets policy of most of the rentals properties, so I started sitting pets from friends that I made here and I also volunteer at the AARC, just to be able to keep in contact with pets even if I can't have my own, What can I say, I have a lot of love to share. so I crossed with this website and I thought I will give it a try.
About my services it is important to know that I currently have a full time job from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm so in case of dogs walks during a house sitting I do 3 daily, of 15 minutes each, first one early morning, the second one once I get home usually around 5 or 6 pm, and the last one before I got to bed, usually around 10 pm. I do not take large dogs, only medium size, and not more than two at a time. For cats or any other type of pet, any size or requirement are welcome
