I am a mature small animal veterinarian that is living in France until the end of 2024, then moving back to Vancouver for 2025. I have lived in Vancouver/Richmond for 28 years before moving to France in 2023. I currently have no house pets and my only pet is my horse, Bindi. Thus, pet and house sitting would be a great way to help people and get my living with pets! I will be working 2-3 days a week once back in Vancouver at the vet clinic that I have been at for the past 20 years.  This is why I have selected cats as the pet I would like to care for. If you have a dog, we can talk about possible scenarios for me to care for them as well.

It goes without saying that I love animals. I love being a veterinarian and could not imagine doing anything else, except pet sitting. Based on my career, clearly I will be able to rapidly notice if your fur-baby is not well or injured and first aid is second nature to me. I can give injections, medicate and treat your pet as you wish.   

I am ultra clean and tidy. Trust me, your home will look like I was never there when you return home. I am a non-smoker, I basically don’t drink (unless out with friends) and am vegetarian. 

I love taking care of plants and pride myself on how my houseplants thrive.  So your plants will be well cared for as well. 
Your fur-baby will get lots of love and attention from me. I adore a snuggly cat and dog. But if your baby is more of a leave-me-be kinda creature, I would completely respect that too. In addition, I fully understand how important following a routine and diet is for your pet. Your pet is ultra-important to you, and I fully appreciate that.  They will be ultra-important to me as well!!! 

While this is my first time using a service like this, I have house- and pet-sat for many people over the years. I am happy to do a few days at a time but would prefer longer stays. 

I love dogs and cats and I love helping people. I know you will feel comfortable and at ease with me caring for your loved one(s). I am exceptionally responsible and reliable. As I don't have any pets right now, I thought this would be a great opportunity to help others and get my pet-fix. 

Hello-Bonjour!My name is William, and I am currently working as a Flight Attendant in Vancouver :) this means I have a lot of time on my hands, but a fairly irregular schedule.I love pets and animals and general, and have lived on farms multiple summers, and have always had pets at home! My first pets were actually hamsters, and I've always had cats. I've also lived with dogs and am currently living with a dog and taking care of it for my friends :)I would love to pet-sit or walk dogs, simply to be outside and enjoy the company of a furry friend (or, if you have snakes or lizards, I love them too :D)
I do not have much experience being a pet sitter, but as I've always been around animals, whether big or small (cows, horses, dogs, cats, hamsters, etc.), I'm sure I would love this opportunity and be great at it!Having lived in nature as a tree planter for the past five summers, I've seen my fair share of different animals, and we always had a lot of dogs on our camps. We even sometimes had to be cramped in the back of pickup trucks with the dogs on our legs haha
I am very active and love running, so if your pet likes to run, or you'd like me to spend their energy, I'm the man for the job!

From the age of 6 have been an integral part of my life – from dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds to hamsters and even chickens. Having spent years volunteering at an animal shelter in Hong Kong, my passion for our furry friends grew, particularly in grooming and fostering cats and dogs, including seniors, babies, and those with special needs. 

My household currently includes 2 cats and 1 dog, all of whom are calm and welcoming to other pets. Notably, one of our adopted cats is paralyzed from the waist down, providing me with hands-on experience in offering specialized care, including pee expression, oral medication, subcutaneous fluids treatment, and acupressure massage.

As a certified Pet Groomer, my husband and I operate a pet grooming business from our home, providing an around-the-clock presence for our feline guests. Currently, we offer Boarding and Drop-in Services exclusively for CATS. Our dedicated cat room ensures each feline resident has its private and cozy suite, creating a tranquil and secure space for meals and rest. 

Additionally, we've set up a cat playground with cat trees, scratching pads, and cat toys available, allowing cats to stretch their legs and enjoy playtime. Customised to suit your cat’s preferences, we thoughtfully arrange playtime sessions for individual cats throughout the day. 

We have all the necessary supplies, such as litter boxes, feeding bowls, cat toys, and scratchers, we also encourage pet owners to bring their own items to ensure their cats feel at home. 

Special needs cats are more than welcome, and during their stay, I offer grooming services as per request to further enhance their well-being. 

I value an initial meeting with pet owners and their cats, allowing me to learn about their routines, personalities, temperaments, and habits. If there are any medical requirements or physical limitations, I am more than willing and capable to work with them.
