I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was young, and caring for pets has always come naturally to me! Animals also seem to warm up to me quickly, which I think comes from being naturally patient, gentle, and attentive around them. I have many years of hands-on experience with cats and rabbits in particular. Most of my friends have cats, so I’ve regularly looked after their pets while they travel, following their routines and making sure they are comfortable, fed, and well cared for.

Personally, I’ve had two rabbits since 2018, which has given me extensive hands-on experience and taught me how important patience, attention to detail, and careful observation are when caring for prey animals. My first rabbit, Stoney, was a rescued bunny who experienced several health challenges, including head tilt and dental abscesses. Through that experience, I became comfortable following detailed care instructions and administering medication as directed by the owner or veterinarian. I currently live with my second rabbit, Tango, whom I adopted in 2020, so rabbits are a particularly important part of my experience. 

I’m a very detail-oriented, patient, and careful person, and I’m especially good at following instructions and maintaining an animal’s usual routine. As a pet owner myself, I completely understand how stressful it can feel to leave your fur baby in someone else’s care. I want every owner to feel confident that their pet is receiving the same patience, attention, and care I would want for my own.

For drop-in visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, litter or enclosure cleaning, companionship, playtime, medication administration when needed, and other routine care according to your instructions. During your trip, I’ll make sure to send regular photos and videos so you can see how your pet is doing. If you have a pet camera at home, you’re also more than welcome to use it for additional peace of mind while you’re away.

I specialize in caring for cats, rabbits, and other small pets. I’m not currently offering regular boarding in my home, although it’s something I may offer in the near future. If you specifically need boarding for your rabbit, feel free to message me and we can discuss your rabbit’s needs and see if we can arrange something that works for both of us. At this time, I’m not offering boarding for cats.

I don’t have a car, so I travel to visits by TTC or Uber within Toronto. I’ll always confirm that the location and timing work for me before accepting a booking.
