"Jessica took care of our elderly cat Suki for four days. She was a great sitter! She was prompt and clear with her communication when arranging the visits and scheduling meetings, knowledgeable about cat care and medication administration, and detail-oriented in terms of Suki's needs. We appreciated the picture updates and reports she sent, and Suki seemed to be doing great when we returned. Jessica is clearly a pet lover and we would recommend her to anyone!"

"Bree was amazing! Communication was perfect and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She made sure our chihuahuas were fed and even spent time with them giving lots of love—especially taking time to cuddle Morgan. It meant so much to us knowing they were so well cared for. Bree is the best!

"Holly was absolutely amazing. She took great care of my cats for the two weeks I was away; she sent me pictures every single day (which I appreciated immensely) she took the time to play with my babies and gave me updates about how things were going. I would highly recommend her as a cat/pet sitter because of how caring she was. I could tell that she is an animal lover!! I will certainly be booking her again for my future trips!! "We were faced with the dilemma most vacationing cat owners face when traveling. Who do we entrust our pet with while we are gone? Do we disrupt our kitty's life by boarding her in a strange environment or do we leave her at home with someone checking in with her.
Our decision was made easy when we met Zahraa. We contacted her through Pawshake and she came around to our house for a meeting prior to us leaving. We decided to engage her pet visiting services and couldn't have been happier with the results.
Zahraa proved to be reliable, punctual and most importantly genuinely cared for our rather skittish cat. I had no concerns with allowing her access to our house while we were absent as she proved to be trustworthy and her messages with photos of each visit confirmed that she was being conscientious and fulfilling her promises of caring for our cat.

"We have used Pawshake before when we travel. We like the idea of having someone visit our home versus placing our nervous cat in a kitty kennel. I located Johanne using Pawshake and we arranged for a meet to get to know her before our trip. She immediately bonded with our cat and we felt totally comfortable giving her open access to our home while we were away.

"Karen was a great pet sitter for us! We met before we travelled and we reviewed our cats routines. While we were away Karen communicated with us after she was at our house and provided an update on our pets. She left the items we left out for our cats tidy and clean. We felt very conformable leaving our pets in Karen’s care.

"I must say that I was very impressed by her professionalism and by how quickly she was able to communicate with me. She takes her job very seriously as you can tell she cares about caring for pets. When we got back from our vacation, Missy was normal as we kept her routine the same as if we were there. I’m comparing it versus other people who cared for Missy and when we got back, she seemed stressed and unhappy. Nina made sure to send me pictures on a daily basis and it really put my mind at ease knowing Missy was in good hands. I highly recommend Nina! Thank you!!!"

"Stephanie took care of my cat, Figaro, for two weeks, stopping by twice a day - essentially serving as his personal assistant and snack manager.

"In a word: fantastic. Our cats have never been so healthy, happy and playful after our return from a trip as with Billie. We have had cat sitter visits, boarded at cat sitters, had them with family and also done “kitty hotels”. Nothing compares to the wonderful impact Billie made with the bonding and playtime she puts into her visits. A bonus: her conscientiousness regarding cleaning, both for the cats’ resources (dishes, litter etc) as well as the general living space. After an exhausting trip with 4 connections and a 9.5 hour jet lag, nothing can compare to the happy squeaks of our “cubsies” and a lovely clean environment to return home to. Thank you to Billie and if you can get a spot in her calendar, do it! "
