Hi pawshakers🐾, my name is Vanessa and I am excited to help you care for your fur babies when in need! 

A little bit about me: I had a mini poodle, Timmy, for 14 years before he passed in 2022, he was my first pet when I was 9, and we were best friends until his last breath. Timmy was always there for me when I needed someone to play with, cuddle with, cry with, etc. Although I adopted Timmy at a very young age, I was his primany caregiver - I had to walk him, bathe him, groom him, and train him. My extended family were very fond of dogs as well, so I was fortunate to grow up with 3 other pups too (1 maltese & 2 shih tzus)! So, I definitely have a long history for doggy care.  

After graduating from university, I missed having a pet and I've always wanted a cat as well, so I adopted my first cat, Birch, in late 2023 who is a brisith longhair. Even though I do not have as many years of cat care as I do with dogs, I have been cat sitting various cats for almost 2 years now, as my neighbours have 10 cats. Why 10 cats you ask? because one of them give birth to 6 kittiens, and I was lucky enough to witness their birth and nursing days! I'm sure all cat pawrents know that some cats don't like to be bathe or have their nails trimmed, but so far I'd say I'm pretty good at that given my experience, haha. 

Both Timmy and Birch have had trips to the vet, so I am also comfortable feeding them their medication if they require minor medical care, or if they are required to be taken to their appointment we can make special arrangements as well! 

I hope my experiences are able to gain a bit more of your trust when leaving your fur baby under my care ❤. Here are what I'm offering:

• At least 30-minutes home visits
• Walk your dog only if they are less than 8kg/17lbs
• Ensuring food & water are suffice
• Scoop cat litter box
• Clean light mess if any
• Play with your pets if they would like
• Arrival and departure pics/videos 
• Updates via text/pics

Additional services (please provide the necessary tools):

• Brushing - $10/pet 
• Nail trimming - $20/pet 
• Bathe, Dry, Brush, Nail trim **only if your pet wants it** - $50 + $35 (1 hour rate)
