Hi, I'm Olivia and I have a passion for pets! I have spent this past year working on contract for a dog walking company. During my time dog walking full time I worked with dogs with all sorts of personalities and quirks, including dogs who displayed leash reactivity. I also worked with a dog with mobility issues. I have had a lot of cat sitting experience over the years. I once took care of an elderly cat. This job involved preparing and administering multiple medications, cleaning up after the cat who often soiled himself, and preparing special food for the cat. Those days could often be long as his care was intense. However it was incredibly fulfilling. I am willing to do anything to help an animal live a full and happy life. I was also a Toronto Humane Society volunteer prior to the pandemic. There I worked with dogs and small animals (from rabbits, to hamsters, to reptiles). All my experiences working with animals helped mold me into the person I am today. I am a firm believer in reward based dog training. I think our role as pet owners is to help guide our pets to become well rounded and balanced through reinforcing positive behaviours. Kindness and love is everything when it comes to animals. I offer dog walking, home visit and house sitting services. I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings. Dog walking I will take your dog for a walk. I offer 30 minute, 45 minute and 1 hour walks. The rate listed is for a 30 minute walk. I will feed your dog and/or administer medication as requested. Home visits Cat & small pet visits: I will spend most of my visit engaging and playing with your pet. I will feed your pet and clean their litter box or cage as instructed. I will administer any medications your cat or small pet requires. Dog visits: I will spend most of my visit engaging and playing with your dog. I will take your dog out to go to the bathroom. I will clean up after your dog as needed. I will feed your dog and/or administer medication if requested. I offer 30 and 60 minute home visits once or twice a day. The rates listed are for one daily 30 minute home visit and two daily 30 minute home visits. House sitting Dog sitting: I will stay in your home with your dog. Your dog will not be left alone for more than 3 consecutive hours. I will of course be with your dog overnight. I will feed your dog as instructed. I will administer medication(s) if requested. I will walk your dog in the morning early afternoon, and evening. The length of the walks depends on the amount of exercise/walking that your dog enjoys. I will engage and play with your dog throughout the day. Your dog will get a minimum of 90 minutes of exercise. (Overnight) Pet sitting: I will stay in your home with your pet. During the day I will be with your pet except to run errands. I will be with them overnight. I will feed your pet and clean their litter box and/or cage as instructed. I will administer medication(s) if requested. I will engage and play with your pet throughout the day. Please note that I charge an increased rate on holidays. My rates will also vary based on distance from my house.
