Hi and thanks for wanting to know a bit more about me.

I am really glad to come across Pawshake. It is a great platform for pet parents to find excellent care for pets that might not do too well in a kennel setting and it is great for me because I love spending my time with animals. I have experience with dogs, cats and bunnies.

I work part time nearby which allows me to give your pet personalized care. Your pet will never be alone as I live with my parents. They will always have someone watching after them and spoiling them with attention and lots of love.

I have taken care of many pets of friends and coworkers in the past. I try my best to make them feel at home and to keep separation anxiety at bay. My home has a big fenced backyard which dogs enjoy doing zoomies in. I also have plenty of space inside to be able to create a safe space for your pets. 

I have a dedicated room for cats. There is a window perch where cats can enjoy the view/sunbathe and there is plenty of space to play around. Ofcourse if they do better outside the room, they are free to do so.

I personally look forward to taking care of pets when asked because I think they are amazing company and I know I can provide them with the love and care that they are accustomed to. I am always intrigued by the different habits and personalities of the animals and feel accomplished when I know I have successfully recognized and adapted to their needs and made them feel content and safe. One of my favourite moments are when I return home from work and they welcome me with their tails frantically wagging, or their off to grab their favourite toy to bring to me. 

During dog boarding, a typical day consists of me waking up and and letting them out in my backyard. Then they get their breakfast. I usually take them for 2 walks, around 20-30 minutes each. I bring them outside with me in my backyard atleast once a day and have some play time with them or just let them explore on their own under my watch. If they prefer to just lounge around and receive cuddles, I will very happily oblige. I will feed them according to the directions that you provide. I also provide basic grooming, like brushing their hair and teeth and cleaning their eye area. Lastly, you will get lots of pictures and updates to keep your mind at ease wherever you are.

Proof of vaccination and flea/tick prevention may be requested for health and safety reasons. 

Items to bring with your dog: Leash/harness, meals, treats, food & water bowl, bed/crate, poo bags, pee pads (if required). Plus anything else that will make their stay enjoyable such as thier favourite blanky, toys, etc.
