Hi! My name is Karina. I’m originally from Brazil and have been living in Vancouver for the past four years. I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I work as a restaurant supervisor with a flexible schedule.

I have lifelong experience with dogs and currently live with two large breeds, so I am confident handling dogs of all sizes, strengths, and temperaments.

Daily routine: During walks, I follow a structured routine that includes a calm start, steady walking, time for sniffing and exploration, and safe interactions with the environment. I can take up to 3 dogs depending on the size. I can adapt the pace depending on your dog’s energy level. For home visits, I follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, water refills, playtime, and cleaning if needed.

Behavior handling: I am comfortable with energetic dogs, strong pullers, shy or anxious dogs, and dogs that need extra patience. I use positive reinforcement, stay calm in stressful situations, and pay close attention to body language to prevent issues before they happen. I avoid unsafe situations like crowded areas if your dog is reactive.

What makes my care special: I provide personalized care for each dog, not a one-size-fits-all approach. I am reliable, attentive, and focused on making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I also communicate clearly with owners and can provide updates if requested.

I offer dog walking and in-home pet sitting, but I cannot host pets at my home. Walks are typically 30 minutes and can be extended upon request. I am also comfortable administering medication and following specific care instructions.
