About Hayley
Hi my name is Hayley and I'm a 27 year old female living in Etobicoke! I'm a recent Teachers College graduate and I'm very excited for this next step in my life! I grew up with many cats, but I got my first dog in 2020! Her name is Cleo and she is still a puppy at heart. She is a Chocolate Lab mixed with an American Bulldog. She likes to play, go on long walks, cuddles (thinks shes a lap dog) & loves her treats of course! I also have a cat at home named Luna who loves to sit on my lap for cuddles as I watch TV. I worked at a pet store for a brief time in my life which gave me some background knowledge on animals and information on how to care for them. Most of the new knowledge I acquire about animals is from my own research and interests in a specific topic. I have additional experience taking care of rabbits, hedgehogs, hamsters, rats, small birds, and fish. If you don't see your pet on the list and would like my services, I am more than willing to learn about how to take care of your pet if you are willing to take the time to teach me! Animals provide such amazing companions and add much joy to our lives which is why I love being around them!
I'd like to be a pet sitter so that I can provide trustworthy, affordable, and loving care to your fur babies. As a pet owner, I know costs for our pets can be excessive sometimes so I'd like to help out by providing you the best service for a reasonable price. I can do home visits for cats, dogs, and small animals. These visits can include feeding, changing the water, cleaning litter boxes/waste, playing, and adminstering medication. These home visits can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or longer depending on my availability and your preference as the pet owner. I am available to walk your dogs as well! I have a lot of experience walking two dogs at once so no worries if you have more than one dog. The length of these walks can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or whatever your preference is based on your dogs needs. If your dog is friendly with other dogs I am more than willing to take your dog/dogs to the dog park for some socialization and exercise. I usually stay at the dog park for 45 minutes to an hour depending on the dogs comfort and activity level at the park.
In my profile I stated that I can adminster oral medications, however, I want to claify what my experience with that is. Cleo is given two pills a day, I open her mouth and put the pill to the back of her throat and then blow on her nose as this will sometimes trigger a dog to swallow. I usually do the same for cats minus the blowing on the nose. These are my only experiences with adminstering oral medications. I have also administered needles to a cat with diabetes. I am a very friendly and reliable person and I hope you will consider me for your pet sitting needs! I'll make sure your fur baby is left satisfied with my visit by providing them with the best pets and scratches they could possibly ask for, Cleo & Luna approved!
