Hi, I’m Tori. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely understands cats and not just watches them, you’re in the right place. I offer calm, home-based boarding where your cat is cared for with patience, attention, and real understanding.

I’ve been taking care of cats on Rover for over 3 years and have looked after just under 100 cats through the platform, and over 200 cats in total throughout my life. I was also the main cat caretaker when I lived with my parents, so this has always been a big part of my everyday life. People often tell me I’m a bit of a “cat whisperer” because I read their behavior and body language very well, even with cats that are more shy or particular.

My home is set up to feel calm, clean, and comfortable so cats can settle in at their own pace. There are cozy spots, natural light, and space to explore, along with regular play and attention throughout the day. I use stainless steel water fountains and provide multiple litter boxes with health-monitoring litter. Cats also get daily playtime, cuddles, and gentle grooming with brushing gloves, and I take care of basic upkeep like nail trims when needed. My cat Kylie is very friendly and helps create a relaxed environment without being pushy.

Cats are never left alone for long — my partner works from home and I work part-time, so there’s always someone around to supervise, interact, and make sure they’re doing well. Safety is a top priority in my home. We are very careful with doors and windows and always make sure everything is secure, so you can feel confident your cat is in a safe environment at all times.

I also put a lot of focus on play and engagement. I have a variety of toys and spend time with each cat based on their personality — whether that’s active play, treats, or just quiet company. I genuinely love what I do, and it honestly feels like the kind of work I’ve always wanted. Spending time with cats and making sure they feel comfortable is something I care deeply about.

I’m comfortable with all personalities, from very social cats to more shy or sensitive ones that need extra time and space. I pay close attention to how each cat is feeling and adjust my approach so they feel safe and secure.

I also enjoy going a bit beyond the basics. I’ve trained my own cat and some client cats to respond to simple commands for treats using positive reinforcement — it’s always fun to see their personalities come out.

I send daily updates for stays under a week, and every other day for longer stays, so you always know how your cat is doing.

Guest Requirements

✔️ Age & Health:

• Cats must be between 2 months and 10 years old

• Must be healthy and not require daily medication, injections, or specialized care

✔️ Vaccinations:

• Must be up to date on Rabies & FVRCP

• Must be on flea prevention

• Vaccination records required before the stay

✔️ Spay/Neuter:

• Cats over 6 months must be spayed or neutered

• A 50% additional daily fee applies for unaltered cats

✔️ Temperament:

• Please inform me if your cat is anxious, unfriendly, recently rescued, or has gone through stress

✔️ Litter Training:

• All cats must be fully litter box trained
