Hi there! Animals have always been my absolute passion, and spending time with dogs and cats genuinely brings me joy. Over the past couple of years, I have informally cared for about 3 to 5 different pets for family and friends. This includes looking after my aunt's sweet senior dog. Because she was very old, I was responsible for feeding her, keeping a close eye on her, and quickly cleaning up accidents around the house. Through helping family and friends, I have also handled high-energy dogs who tend to be eager leash-pullers, learning how to keep them securely on track with patience and a steady hand. These experiences taught me to be incredibly patient, loving, and highly observant of a pet's changing needs.

I welcome small to medium-sized dogs and enjoy adjusting to their unique personalities. While I am a beginner without professional training certifications, I am great with nervous or shy dogs. I handle them by giving them plenty of space, keeping my voice soft, avoiding sudden movements, and letting them approach me on their own terms.

To ensure focused attention and maximum safety, I only walk dogs from one family at a time, and I limit myself to a maximum of 2 to 3 walks per day. I typically service the Marpole and downtown Vancouver areas. A standard walk is 30 to 45 minutes on a secure, short leash. If a dog pulls or gets startled, I stay calm and use a gentle but firm hold to redirect them.

For home drop-in visits, a typical visit looks like this step-by-step: First, I enter calmly to let your pet comfortably greet me. Next, I check and refresh their food and water bowls, clean up any accidents, and give them plenty of focused playtime, cuddles, or belly rubs. Please note that during these visits, your pets are never left alone—I am fully present and engaged with them the entire time. Finally, I always send you a quick text and photo update before I leave so you have peace of mind.

In the rare event of an emergency, my immediate protocol is to secure the pet, notify you right away, and head straight to the nearest local veterinary clinic if needed. My schedule is flexible with great availability throughout the week. For safety, I only care for fully vaccinated pets. Looking forward to meeting your fur babies!
