About me: I am a 27-year-old, who recently graduated with a degree in education to become a junior high or high school teacher! In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, play soccer, volunteer, and ski. I have a 9-year-old lab-border collie cross named Storm who is the love of my life and we go on a lot of walks and runs together. Her breed requires a lot of exercise so I understand the need for dogs to get out for a walk or run daily! I worked at Pet Planet which has educated me on pet nutrition and products so if there are any questions on products I would be happy to provide some product recommendations!

Why I want to be a pet sitter and dog walker: I have a passion for animals and their welfare. I am an advocate for their wellbeing and have done a fair bit of volunteering in a Veterinarian’s office shadowing vets and taking part in the daily tasks that happen there. I have also volunteered at the Calgary Humane society walking dogs. Both of these volunteer experiences contribute to why I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets by taking them for walks or house sitting in your home.

I am a responsible, reliable, punctual, loving, caring person who strives to ensure pets are well looked after. I know how much my dog means to me which is why I will put in the time to spend with your pets. My passion for animals is my motivation to do this work.

I offer dog walks and house sitting in your home. In my previous house-sitting experiences, I have found dogs are much more comfortable in their own home than mine which is why I only offer the house sitting in your home. It is important to me that your pet is well taken care of and is as comfortable as possible.
