Hello! I'm Victoria, and I believe that our fur family's feelings of safety and security are directly tied to the home atmosphere we create. This is why, as a pet sitter, my apartment – which I call The Dancing Sun retreat – is a bright, happy and clean home where I allow the reflection of my love and joy for pets to exude through the walls. 

As a child, my family members (4) were out-numbered by the number of pets we took care of. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs... Oftentimes rescued, each one was subdued with love and given silly nicknames. They spent their time following us around the house and were most often the centre of our attention as we watched them bat toys and zoom around the front or back yard. 

Now, I live on my own as a PhD student who works from home on multiple days of the week. I have a one year-old cat named Minou (Noo-boo, The Nou.., Noo baloo..., so many names aha!), and we absolutely love meeting new pets as they retreat in our clean and calming home. Minou is a rescue cat from the Caribbean.

This summer, we (Minou and I) last pet-sitted a Shih Tzu named Selah for 4 months. We were a tight-knit family, and Minou and Selah became BEST FRIENDS. I went to visit my grandparents, and of course, they both came with me. Wherever the two furries went, they played and snuggled like they'd known each other forever. That's the temperament of Minou: he's calm, extremely snuggly and very down to play when prompted. I honestly think he missed his friend when she was safely returned to her family.

As your pet sitter, the comfort and security of your pet is my priority. I take pride in the details, sending you daily updates and photos so that you can rest assured of the care your pet is in while you're away. I understand your need because as a frequent traveler myself, that is, in the odd times that I can't take Minou with me, I'm very picky to find a sitter who I can trust to provide the same level of care and attention I provide to The Nou.

I'm currently only accepting cat-sitting requests (one family at a time) at my place. I do not do home visits or housekeeping. My apartment is a large, bright and spacious 3 1/2, giving your kitty the space to explore, stretch and find comfort wherever they choose. I'm also confident that the first introductions of our two unfamiliar cats will seamlessly become friendship due to my safe-space introductions technique.
