I have a dog and two cats of my own and I understand how hard quality pet care can be to come by, which is why I chose to make a profile on Pawshake. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for years. I often offer to stay in the home with the pet so there is as little disruption to their environment as possible. In addition to that I offer dog walking and house visits where I would come to feed your pet as well as give them attention. I worked at a pet store (The Pampered Pet, Ottawa, ON) for two years. I have an extensive knowledge of pet allergies and dietary sensitivities as well as knowledge about some behavioral issues and products that could help to solve them. Being left with a new person while your family is away can be hard on pets, so I try to make it as comfortable as possible with lots of treats and love. I also volunteered at my local animal shelter regularly and am generally an animal lover all around.
