About Kristen
I am a long time cat mom, experienced in all ages of cats, from kittens to the elderly. (I love doggos too, but I'm allergic, so I only accept bookings for cattos).
I have cat sit for friends in the past, including caring for a 4-week old kitten found on the side of the highway during COVID (Grey and white kitty in the pics). This was not my first rescue kitten, I raised my parents last cat from only a week old. My recent cat experience has been with my own senior girls, standard aging issues and some uncommon health problems as well.
Newt, who currently rules my house, is 16 (grey tuxie) and we recently lost her adopted sister Ripley, 15, (white with orange spots) in June. My cats are my children and I would treat yours the same.
Ripley had diabetes, so I am a pro at injecting insulin. I am also very comfortable with giving oral medications, it comes with the territory of having senior cats. I know how spot allergies, urinary and anal gland conditions. Newt can be quite the spicy potato, so I'm also well-versed in burrito-ing.
Starting in 2021 my girls were on separate, conflicting diets (diabetic and kidney disease) and staunchly refused to be separated by a door during meal time, forcing me to adopt otherworldly cat herding skills! There is no cat that can outlast my patience.
Generally speaking, I'm a low key but highly conscientious person. I'm happy to take my cues from your cat(s): the goal is for you to come home to relaxed, happy felines!
All visits are a minimum of 30 minutes and include litter cleaning, feeding, play time, snuggles and anything else your little family members need to thrive!
I have a car and am willing to commute to anywhere inside the ring road (if you're on the edge, message me and maybe we can make it work).
