My name is Jess and my partner Cal and I are a young couple with no pets of our own, so we'd love to take care of yours! We both grew up around animals - dogs, cats, birds and rabbits - but due to our current living situtation we can't have any. It's really important to us to give each animal under our care the same level of time and attention that we would for our own pets, so we only book one family at a time. Currently our main offer is for housesitting services, though dog walking or drop-in house visits can also be offered, depending on proximity. Unfortunately we cannot currently provide boarding as our current house does not allow pets.&nbsp;
We live in the Mississauga area near Square One. When sending a request, please include your rough location (ie. postal code or closest intersection) so we can get an idea of where you're at. We always do a meet-and-greet before accepting a request, just to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable with the arrangemenet.&nbsp;
Prior to Pawshake, I did a lot of pet/house sitting in Dawson City, Yukon. I was introduced to this platform by a friend when I moved back to Mississauga and have loved the opportunity to meet and connect with many different families and their pets. Services Provided: Every pet is unique, so the care provided will vary based on the discussed needs/desires of your specific pet. We want to make their experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, whether that means hanging out with them all day or letting them have some alone time. Dog walking services will be provided in the evenings. Walks will be at least a half hour in length. I would also love to take your dog to a leash free park, if that's something they are good with. For house sitting services, my partner and I would stay in your home to ensure your pets have as much care and attention as possible. We both currently work normal workdays out of the house. I finish at 3:30pm and my partner has some flexibility (ie. if a pet needs medication at a certain time we can probably work something out). Other than that, we are home bodies so we would be at your place (likely snuggling an affectionate pet) most of the time. We also love to cook and I recently developed a love for gardening.We provide regular updates via text or WhatsApp about how your pets are doing and, of course, lots of photos! The frequency of updates that you'd prefer will be discussed at the meet and greet. Restrictions:We are happy to care for multiple pets at the same time, but only one owner at a time. Because we do not offer boarding services, we do not want to be visiting more than one house per evening. This is to make sure we can provide the appropriate amount of attention to your fur babies! Also pet age is not an issue, so long as the risk is understood. Oral medications can be administered but I do not feel comfortable administering anything requiring a needle.Aside from typical pets, my partner also has experience with horses and I have experience with farm animals. I have owned my own pets for a many number years, helped my mom &amp; brother with their pets while on vacations whether in my home or theirs. I was so bless to have a sweet English bulldog as apart of my family, Stella was a sweet girl who brought so much joy to our lives she was born with a mild spina bifida she was able to walk but had some trouble with bladder issues she was on several medications to help with other ailments that came with her spina bífida she sadly passed 3 years ago and we miss her so very much
Since the pandemic my work from home became a permanent thing so adding walks during my breaks and can give tons of attention you your fur babies. I live in a 1200sq ft condo on the main floor with its own access to a medium size patio to make walks and exercises easy. I'm also able to bring you fur baby in and out with safely. I only will take 3 dogs at a time and each will have their own section to call their own for the duration of their stay. And make sure to give each one the love and attention they deserve. 
I love to take pets to the dog park where they are able to run and get any built up energy out. We have an open field across the street from my condo where you pet can have a long and full walk. On the odd day I would love to take them for super long walks at my favourite trail for a bit of a change.
I would like to know about any issues with social issues, separation anxiety. things that they like and dislike favourite activities and toys to make them as comfortable as possible times that they normally eat and go out for walks to make sure your pet is on a schedule that closely mimics they schedule at home to minimize any anxiety.

We have Charlie, one of the most trained dog in the neighborhood and willing to help anyone at anytime. We've taken care of small dogs like a Chihuahua to an 85lbs dog. High energy dogs are welcome as we setup play time with other dogs, play fetch and walks when ever needed. We are also used to handling puppies and their lovely behaviours. We've been doing this for years but just got onto this platform, we have a "Star Sitter" badge on other platform.
My wife and I are always at home, day and night, well except when we're out for walks. At least once in the morning and another in the evening. So we are available for boarding any time, weekend and weekdays.
We live in a semi-detached home with a fully fenced back and side yard big enough for our furry friends to play. And we have a very adaptable American Eskimo that can accompany your dog or give them space when needed, we have plenty of space in the main floor or the basement to play. But in down time, they all prefer the bay window where they can watch the entire street.&nbsp;&nbsp;
We respect boundaries and limitations, if you trained your dog in a certain way, let us know so we can keep it consistent. Such as no sitting on furniture, off limits to certain spaces, such as the kitchen and more. This way we don't undo your hard work and confuses the dog.We are experienced with many kind of behaviors in dogs, just let us know in advance, so we know what to expect. And if there's any you would like assistance on, we'll do our best. Waiting in the entry area for our command to continue including waiting for their turn in feeding time, finishing their portion of food in one sitting, desensitizing from touching their paws (helpful for trimming and putting on winter boots)&nbsp;
We walk the dogs at least 2 times a day, higher energy dog may get additional walks and other excercises such as fetching. We administer oral and topical medication, prepare foods according to your instructions. All at no additional fee.
What our typical day looks like? We let them out in the backyard in the the morning before we get ready for the morning walks.Feeding time is always after the walk then a little break/play indoor before letting them out in the yard again for another play time.Nappy time is almost guaranteed after, some prefer the cooler basement but most wants to be in the bay window where they can watch the neighborhood. But they all just naps there.Late afternoon they get to play outside again before we prep them for another walk then feeding time.They get to play a bit after on the main floor before heading down to the basement where the good dogs (all of them) get a little treat.One last time outside before we head to sleep, either they are more comfortable in their own kennel or joins us in the bedroom, but not on the bed.
