I'm most experienced with medium dogs but grew up with cats, too! I work from home so I have plenty of time to take your pooch on a long walk, or out for frequent potty breaks if needed.&nbsp;I live with my partner Johnny, and we have petsat together in the past. However, he does travel a lot for work so during those times when I'm alone, I especially love that quality time with animals. I can't imagine having a pet at home without letting them cuddle on the sofa or bed, so they're definitely allowed on the furniture.&nbsp;I do not have any pets right now, as my partner's travel schedule is a bit too hectic for us to make that long-term commitment.Im happy to walk, feed, cuddle, board, and babysit your animals in my home or yours! As such, I will treat your dog as my own with the utmost respect, kindness and gentle care when they stay with me. I will strictly follow your feeding instructions and can administer oral medicine. They'll get lots on one-to-one attention, and I will make sure to stimulate your dog both physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in my neighbourhood, and explore Echo Valley Park near my house. I have a large yard, and I would always supervise and keep them on leash when we are outside.&nbsp;&nbsp;
I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was a teenager. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets when they have been away. The responsibility of taking care of your pet goes far beyond the fundamental need of food and shelter. My focus is on their well-being by providing a comfortable and interactive environment. Taking care of your dog would provide me so much joy and I can assure you that I will give your pet the same love and attention that you would.
I work as a teacher, so my availability follows a school schedule. During school holidays, I am fully dedicated to your pet during their stay. During the school year, I am at your pet's beck and call on weekends all day and after 3:30 pm on weekdays. I am also open to weekday stays as long as your dog would be comfortable staying home alone between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. I love to be active, and I will make sure your fur baby will get multiple walks and engaging play time, or if they prefer rest and relaxation, I will offer lots of cuddles! You will receive updated messages and photos throughout their stay including appetite and sleep observations. However, I can also appreciate that you may need a break from technology, so if you prefer that I only contact you in the event of an emergency, I am happy to accommodate.
Physical safety is of utmost concern when your pet is in my care. To ensure their safety, please note:1) I have gotten all of my Covid-19 vaccines. I also follow all health and safety guidelines as recommended by public health.2) If an emergency arises, I have a car.3) My house is cleaned with non-toxic cleaners. I am open to hosting other types of pets as well.4) Long-term stays are welcome5) I will strictly follow your diet and medication administration (if applicable) instructions.

We live in the Port Credit/Mineola/Lakeview area in Mississauga. We have had pets (bunnies, cats, birds and dogs) our entire life. In December 2022 and April this year, our beloved Coby (Westie) and Abby (Scottie) of 15 + years crossed the rainbow bridge. So our house is a bit quiet now without our fur babies. We are not used to the calmness .....and love to have the opportunity to take care of yours while you are busy.
We will only provide care to pups from the same parents during your scheduled stay, so you can rest assured that your babies won't get scratches and bites under our care.
Since my retirement 6 years ago, I have started caring for our friends' babies while they travel. I have experience caring for seniors with terminal illness and dogs with special needs. We live in a house with a huge fenced yard. Your pups will roam freely in our house. When I am not feeding or walking them, they will be playing in the house or in our yard.&nbsp;
They can stay overnight while you are on vacation. They can also stay for the day while you are busy running errands.  We are flexible and available Monday - Sunday. They will be loved and cared for like our own.  We can arrange for meet and greet to make sure your fur babies like us and our house before staying with us.&nbsp;
