My journey with cats began about ten years ago. Since then, I have been very fond of cats, from helping to take care of my roommate's cat, to cat sitting my friend's cat when they were abroad, to adopting a cat myself. He is a 14-year-old tabby cat, very healthy and happy.&nbsp;
As someone who occasionally has to travel, I understand the pain of not being able to be around their animals. I would be happy to care for your cats while you are away, in the way you would like. If you allow me to be your cat sitter, I will take pictures of each of my visits so that you can track your cat's condition. As a grad school student, the flexibility of my time is an asset. I spend most of my time writing my thesis and doing research, so I can do my job anywhere with my laptop. Plus, I have a car, so mobility is not a problem for me.
I believe that cats love to interact with humans, although they may be a little cautious when they first meet us. I really enjoy the slow process of building trust with cats. Of course, if they keep their distance, I will respect their choice and be quiet.

HOUSE VISITS \ SITTING ️ I offer go to the comfort of your own home and care for your pets. (Catering to a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, chickens, rats, fish, birds and more)️ During my visits, I ensure that your pets receive the utmost care and attention. This includes cleaning litter boxes, providing fresh food and water, engaging in playtime or for shy animals comforting companionship. ️ If needed, I can also take your dog for a walk. ️ I am happy to assist with other tasks such as watering plants, bringing in the mail and taking out the trash upon your request.️ Each visits lasts a minimum of 30min to an hour (more time if it's necessary), allowing ample time to address all your pets needs.️ For house sitting, the scheduele will be according to your needs.️ If your pets requires medication or any special assistance, please let me know, and I will ensure they receive the necessary care. ️  When I leave your home, I make sure everything is securely closed in its original state. We're a professional, working couple. I work from home as a Marketing Manager so my flexible schedule will allow me to care for your dog throughout the day.&nbsp;
There are lots of parks nearby. It's a short drive to dog parks and beaches and I don't mind taking your dog in the car with me. We live in a beautiful neighbourhood with lots of grass and trees for all the sniffing!&nbsp;
I typically walk Jedi 2-3 times per day, with one longer, 30+ minutes walk in the morning, after breakfast. We have playtime in the evening before and after dinner, where we usually try to have some mental stimulation through training or fun activities like an obstacle course or scavenger hunt! And cuddles, pets and scratches throughout the day. This schedule is easily adaptable to your dog's needs. I'm happy to follow your instructions and preferences. &nbsp;
We are only allowed 2 dogs in our home, meaning I can only take one additional dog. If you have more than one dog, I'm happy to discuss alternate options, like home visits.&nbsp;
I'm able to give medicine and take your pet to any appointments as well. Please let me know if they require any special treatment so I can prepare.&nbsp;
Both Marshall and I enjoy training and would be happy to practice with your dog if you want.&nbsp;

I have my own treats that I can give to your dog, of course by agreeing with you in advance on the quantity.

I am a 30-year-old man and have lived with pets my whole life; growing up I had two dogs, two rats, and a cat, and now I have two cats of my own. Living as a renter in Vancouver, it's been hard to find a pet-friendly home that is big enough for a dog, which is a big part of why I want to help you take care of yours! I also absolutely love cats, and the more I have in my life the better.
I currently work as a metalworker on a weekend shift, which means from Monday to Thursday I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets! This means I am ideal for people who work Monday-Friday or travel for work often and need someone to help them out a bit with dog-walking and pet sitting during the week. Morning, afternoon, and evening are all fine for me; whatever helps you out the most!
Cats and dogs both tend to love me pretty quickly, and I don't think I will have any problems putting your pets at ease. I had a german sheperd and an australian sheperd growing up, so I have plenty of experience with big dogs and energetic dogs - and I love taking them for walks or hanging out with them.
My area has plenty of great places for dog walks, such as Memorial South Park, Macdonald Park, and Queen Elizabeth Park. I am also happy to come to you and walk your dog around whatever parks you have in your neighbourhood.
If that all sounds good to you, I offer the following services:

Dog Walking: I offer 30-45 minute dog walks. I will come to you, pick up your dog(s), and take them for a walk around your neighbourhood and any nearby parks before dropping them off back at home. I will not take your dog off leash unless specifically requested by the owner and only in enclosed spaces such as fenced off-leash dog areas at a park. Dog walking costs $18, with an extra $5 charge per extra dog. If you have a particularly energetic dog that needs longer than 45 minutes let me know and I am happy to work something out so I can accomodate your pet's needs.
Home Visits: I offer drop-in home visits. Depending on the pet and their needs I am happy to stay for up to 40 minutes per visit. During this time I can feed your pets, top up their water, take dogs outside to use the bathroom, administer oral medications, clean up after your pets, scoop litterboxes, take out any garbage, and do basic household maintenance like bringing in the mail and watering plants. I will send you (at least) one photo update per sitting and will absolutely take your pet to the vet if neccessary. Home visits cost $25 for one visit a day or $35 for two visits a day.
House Sitting: I offer overnight stays at your home with your pets. During this time I will do everything included in the Home Visits service while also providing 24-hour care and attention for your pets. If I have appointments that require me to leave the house during the stay I will let you know at time of booking. Overnight House Sitting costs $55 per day.
