Hello all Dogs & Cats owners,

 My name is Gretel and I am passionate about animals. This is one of the main reasons why I am vegetarian. I speak 3 languages (English, French, and Spanish). For the moment I am working at home, so I have plenty of time for your babies! I am the owner of two pets businesses. We produce pet treats & dog subscription boxes.

I am the mommy of two beautiful cats Izzy and Romeo and the princess of the house, my tiny chihuahua Coco. My pets are my babies and I treat them with a lot of love, respect, and discipline.

We just moved to Peterborough in a house. We just want to do a kind of Airbnb for dogs. 

Now you got it - I would like to be a pet sitter in order to be around dogs, surrounded by their love. It makes me happy and my goal is to make them happy too.

Available all day, any time even on weekends. We are three businesses partner who works with dogs. So, we will make time to fit your doggie in our schedule. 

We have a fenced yard. A lot of space and nice parks closer. We also love to try our business products on them. As long the owner does not mind! :)

(What I would like to know about your pet)

Before taking care of your dog, I would like to know if your baby has been trained. What kind of behavior your dog has? Is your dog allergic to anything? Is your dog-friendly with cats and dogs?

I do not have any preference for a specific breed but pet owners need to take into consideration these factors.

1. I am ok with any dog breeds for a walk or extra activity outside. However, I would like to know if your dog is ok with other dogs. If yes, I will bring my Coco (my chihuahua) with us to have fun together if not, no problem I will let her at home.   

2. I am ok with taking care of your dog at my place but your baby needs to be ok with my cats and my chihuahua. 

3. I am ok to pet sitting at the owner's place and I am open to all breeds.

*Your dog will :
	-Has access to the entire home.
	-Can sleep in my bed (if he/she is clean).
	- Our condo has a fenced in backyard
	- I will be at home must of the time (max 2-3h absent)
	- 3-4 exercise walk/day
	- Potty breaks every 0-2h
	- Will bathe your dog (if required)
	- Will provide food ($)/or you bring food

***As pet owner business, we have a lot of treats and toys in our home. We will take your baby at the parks, long walks and teach them discipline and some training tricks.


note: If you are out for few days don't worry I will send you a daily picture of your pet if it desired. With me, your pet is in good hands!

Living with 4 cats for 6 years has not only been a joy but has also made me a feline expert, thanks to my girlfriend, who is a veterinarian. I've absorbed valuable insights into their health and behavior, and I even played a crucial role in saving three kittens during a challenging labor process. One of them, now the sweetest angel among my cats, is a testament to my dedication to their well-being.
Freshly graduated and currently immersed in full-time job hunting, my love for animals has given me the perfect opportunity to dedicate extensive time to care for cats and small to medium-sized dogs. Being pet-less at the moment (my fur babies are with my girlfriend in our long-distance relationship), I genuinely miss their company, adding an extra layer of motivation to provide exceptional care for your pets.

I can only do home visits for now, however long negotiable water plants and bring in the mail by the way if you needed, and if you have special needs, we can discuss per case.&nbsp;
I can walk dogs as long as they are controllable, so the calm kind of dogs only please, I am physically strong, but just not big enough to manage a super hayper dog. Thanks for understanding.

Hi! I’m Mel. I’ve lived in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough for awhile now, &amp; have cared for animals my whole life, and worked with them in various capacities for 2 decades. I have a beloved 15 year-old dog of my own, 4 sweet cats, 2 fun bunnies and 2 adorable rats! I can care for animals of any species, any medical needs, in any weather *that’s safe for them*, &amp; I offer a variety of activities (including running with your higher energy pup!)
My family fostered many cats &amp; dogs when I was growing up. Our house was full of love &amp; many personalities to get to know! As soon as I was able - I sought out opportunities to work with animals myself! I worked at a pet store for 5 years, volunteered with Humane Societies, worked at a doggie daycare &amp; at a horse stable. I volunteered &amp; co-oped at a veterinary clinic, led my own dog to pass a Therapy Dog Evaluation Test, &amp; even ran my own successful animal care business for a few years!
Now - my career path has taken a few turns! I’m a Research Manager, and a parent. I recently decided to ground myself back in working with animals, &amp; making more space &amp; opportunity for myself to walk - which is my favourite thing to do. So, I founded a non-profit animal rescue in the Summer of 2021. This takes up a chunk of my time, &amp; I love it. Now, for the walking.
I enjoy walking, especially with a dog, &amp; especially on trails - I WANT to walk for hours a day. Knowing that I love not only animals, but walking in all weather, can have you resting assured that I am in the best space when spending time with your babies!

 Extra dog = $10/dog for any duration

 Keep in mind that the app takes a decent chunk of this, and in addition to the walk time, I spend time on transportation, dressing your pup for the weather and tidying them up after. This is all included in the rate, and does not count toward your walk time. (Ex. $35 for a 60 minute walk includes a FULL 60+ minute walk, and the additional time spent on transportation, getting ready, and clean up)!
