Hi,
I've just moved to Vancouver from Brisbane Australia, and would love to look after your fur-babies! I am 24 years old, and a stand up comedian. I moved here to live with my sister, and am loving the beautiful scenery and nature surrounding Vancouver. My sister is a veterinary technician, so if there's any problems help is not far away. I spend a lot of my free time walking and exploring, so I thought why not do this and make a few furry friends along the way! I have a lot of experience with animals, having grown up in a house/zoo with at least half a dozen dogs, cats, fish, canaries, guniea pigs, at any given time. I have experience with big and small dogs, having grown up with three Irish Wolfhounds, a Great Dane, and a miniature dachshund. 
I am free for house sitting and dog walking, up to 5 walks a day! Can walk for up to two hours in your area. I can also administer medication as requested. I don't have a requirement for vaccinated pets. 
I work as a stand up comedian, so I am free for walks all day and afternoon, and house sitting for long periods at a time. I cannot offer 24/7 care, but gigs are only a few hours at the most. I will make sure the house is locked up and secure, and will be there to care for your pets all day and most of the evenings.

I'm used to volunteering at Vokra and feel super comfortable around cats, even the shy/grumpy ones or the ones who need medical care.I also love dogs and walking them in our beautiful parks.
As a pet sitter, getting to spend time with all sorts of pets is always a joy. Whether it's playing fetch with an energetic dog or cuddling with a fluffy cat, each animal has their own unique personality that make them a delight to care for.
Another great aspect of being a pet sitter is the sense of responsibility and purpose that comes with the job. Knowing that you're helping to keep someone's beloved pets happy and healthy while their owners are away brings a real sense of satisfaction and pride. When I had a cat at home a year ago (she was a senior cat who passed away in February 2022), I was relieved to find pet sitters when I needed them on this very website. I'm glad to be able to return the favour!
And of course, being able to work at flexible times is great with the added reward of connecting with animals.
I'm mostly available in the afternoon and evenings but sometimes flexible regardless weekends!

Hi there! A little bit about myself, my beloved maltipoo pup is one year old!  I share her with my best friend and am left alone Monday and Tuesdays, but I'm happy to watch/walk your pup any day of the week! I welcome dogs up to 30lbs. My dog is vaccinated, spayed and small. She is a bit shy at first but LOVES to play and sniff other dogs. she will be accompanying all walks and services offered thurs-Sunday. Please give any instructions and important info about your dog on your application so I may cater to your needs.

I'm very patient and will be happy to shower ur dog in healthy and nutritious treats and cuddleswe can go on long walks and chill at the park practicing healthy socialization aswell. I will take lots of pics to send them to you as I'm sure you will want updates and miss your little friend

I've been offerring professional pet sitting for a little over 9 years now. In Alberta, I worked for a reputable pet sitting company, but since moving to Vancouver, I have been offering informal pet sitting and care to close friends. I would like to start offering pet care in a more formal way again, so here I am on Pawshake! 
I grew up in a home with cats and dogs (my parents run a rescue) and have a dog and a rabbit of my own. I have always been passionate about animals and prefer their company over humans! I have experience taking care of cats and dogs of all sizes (big breeds are no problem!) rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs, as well as a variety of farm animals. 
I work full time in HR and live in Crosstown, so my ideal service area is downtown (Yaletown/West End, Chinatown, Gastown) but I have a vehicle and am willing to travel further afield. 
When I'm not working, my life revolves around caring for my animals, so it is no problem for me to be available most evenings and weekends! I offer dog walks, home pet visits and house sitting in addition to pet care. I enjoy taking daily walks with my pup and would be happy to get more steps in with yours as well!
