I'm a 34 year old woman who has just moved to Toronto, who absolutely lives and breathes all things animal- which is helpful, considering I work in a dog grooming salon!  
I worked for Pawshake New Zealand until moving to Canada, so I have a lot of experience looking after cats and dogs professionally. (See photos for my reviews.) I have looked after 25+ animals and had such a wonderful experience with them all that I would love to continue pet sitting in Canada! I have had a cat previously and more recently, my own dog (who is now nine years old), so I've gained a lot of knowledge about communication, training and overall care that way.
I am able to pet sit in your own home or board small dogs in my own. 
I have experience looking after a range of sizes of animals, from tiny (1kg) dogs, up to large (40kg) ones. I have also had the fortunate opportunity to volunteer at a vet clinic, and numerous wildlife sanctuaries across the globe (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Bolivia, Peru), so when I say I have dedicated my life to animals, I genuinely mean it. During visits, I will clean the litter box, change water and replenish food and give lots of head scratches and/or belly rubs. I have a car to get to and from locations, and willing to take dogs on more exciting walks in parks with open spaces. Four years ago I was made solely in charge of my brother's German Shepherd, Maya, for 2 months ( while he was away on holiday). I'm very hands on and attentive when it comes to caring for a pet. During my time with Maya, I took her everywhere with me, I took her on long walks, play dates, and pampering days. I love the companionship of a dog and since then I've been pet-sitting for family and friends. I began professionally pet sitting one year ago and have truly loved meeting every one of my fur clients.&nbsp;
My schedule is very flexible as I work from home, which frees me up to take care of your beloved pets. I live on the second floor of a house, the flat is spacious with a fenced outdoor patio and I have no pets. The guest dog will have access to all the rooms and can sleep wherever he/she is comfortable. I'm quite active, I walk/run on average (2 hours) daily but I can also have lazy days.
I have experience dog walking and dog sitting, I will at most board two dogs at a time (but I will always run it by you first to make sure you and your dog are comfortable with it).
