Hello my Pawshake friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I write you today to let you know I’ve had to accept a new hybrid job. This means unfortunately that I will no longer be able to do pet sitting on the side. 😢
I want each and every one of you to know how much it has meant to me getting to know your pets. I took on pet sitting as a hobby and had no idea the level of joy it would bring me - getting to know you and your pets. I take it very seriously, you entrusting me with your pet, which is why it breaks my heart to think of them having to get to know someone new. 😪 but with an irregular commute, it just won’t be possible to commit anymore.
Thank you all for trusting me with your pet and letting me get to know them. They have been such a bright spot and I treasured every minute with them. ❤️

Initially discovered Pawshake as a client and found a wonderful sitter - now I'm fortunate enough to be working from home and would love to offer the same care and dedication back! Always an avid animal lover, I've grown up with dogs, cats, fish and even guinea pigs! I've also volunteered to watch pets for friends, family and neighbours in my building where I live with my own cat, Oscar, the love of my life ❤️
Since signing up, I’ve sat for cats, dogs, lizards and even rats! It brings me joy caring for animals, so with me you won’t get someone who just pops in and does the basics. In fact, I seldom book more than one gig at a time because I don’t want to be rushed with the pets I take on – I like to take time and get to know and interact with them, usually spending 45-60 minutes with them depending on their level of comfort and activity.
I also believe it’s just as important for YOU to be comfortable and stress-free leaving your pet in my care while you're away! As a fur-mom, I've always appreciated being reassured with regular photo/video updates and communication, so know I'm more than happy to do the same 🙂
What to expect when you message or book me:
- I will want to meet with you and your pet(s) before booking – I believe it’s important for me to be introduced with their family present so they know I’m a trusted person and they hopefully remember me when I re-enter their home 👋
- I will ask a bunch of questions about your pet(s) to ensure no disruption to their routine. Most domestic pets are creatures of habit which is why they’re so much happier having a sitter cater to them than being removed from their home. 🏡
- I’m available mornings (before 9am) and evenings (after 5pm) and weekends for the most part. ⏱️ Unfortunately my schedule is not flexible enough to offer dog walking at this time.
