Hello there!

My name is Cyrielle (F, 37yo, she/her), and I love animals (mostly cats and dogs).


About me and my experience with animals:
I am the proud cat mom of Disney. He is pretty old now (17 yo) and very territorial: I knew he would be happier staying back with my mom when I moved to Canada in 2024. They are now very happy together, in France!

I spent most of my childhood with 3 lovely Yorkshire terriers when I was at my nanny's home (from 0 to 12 years old). I also lived with my landlady's 2 cute English Cocker Spaniels for a year, when studying abroad. I have catsitted 1 cat (Milo) for a week in France... and have been taking care of 10 cats, 3 dogs, and 4 rats in Guelph since starting this account!

I love animals, but my flat is not really adapted to them... So I interact with all of those I meet when I'm walking in the city. I'm basically talking to every cat / dog / squirrel / goose / snail / ladybug I cross!


More about me:
I am working full time as a Technical Writer, but remotely and with very flexible hours. On top of that, I manage a website and volunteer as a remote Social Media Specialist for a cat rescue (a few hours a week for both).

Given my organisation skills (I am a to-do-list master!), I knew I could help people in Guelph when they have to stay away from their animal for a day or more. So here I am!


Important practical information:
- I am available 7 days a week. I have already 3 "regulars" which I take care of for ~7 days a month in total.
- I don't have a car: I am available mostly in/near Downtown Guelph. I love to walk though, so as long as you are in a 5-km radius from the train station, it's all fine!
PS: I don't mind going further for house-sitting.
PPS: Don't hesitate to contact me anyway if it's an emergency, last-minute situation, we can try to work it out, so you can leave stress-free.


What to expect:

- communication, with as many pictures, videos, and updates as you wish!



Back in France, I realized how important it is to really trust the person who take care of your animal, on the occasions where Disney couldn't come along. Our animals are family! I know you are looking for a reliable person you can trust with your loved ones. This is what I have to offer.

Whether your animals only need feeding, access to fresh water, and a litter change, or also some extra time to play and socialize, etc. you can count on me.
