Hi!

My name is Laura Kudla and I am a 25-year-old women who lives in Waterloo, ON. I am the Salon
Leader of Petsmart Waterloo, where I work full time grooming dogs and managing
the grooming salon. I have loved animals my whole life, so much so I choice to
work with them as a career. I have lived in Waterloo for nearly 3 years and used
to pet sit for friends and family all the time when I lived up North (North
Bay). Now that I am comfortable here and have a very steady job I would love the
opportunity to sit pet again.  

Experience 

I have LOTS of experience with animals such as; dogs (big and small), cats, birds and hamsters. As I have had my own growing up. I have owned 3 dogs (Great Pyrenes, Germen Shepard and
collie mix verity’s) and countless cats, but each have a piece of my heart. I have
also pet sat many dog breed such as, Chihuahuas, Pugs, Wheatens, Standard
poodles, ext. Working with dogs on the daily and completing training to become
a groomer I have extensive knowledge with working with different breeds and
their individual needs. I also had the opportunity to pets sit other animals
such as guinea pigs, rats and cockatoos. Currently I own 3 female cats (two are2 years old and one is 13).  

Goal

With pet sitting my goal it to provide a safe space, routine care and share a bond with your pet when
you are not availed. I’m able to board any small animals, stay/neutered cats
and any small dogs ( < 25lb). They would also need to be cat friendly of
course, to agree with my 3 cats at home. I am comfortable providing house
sitting, this way pets are able to remain comfortable in their home. Also, just
regular dog walking, anywhere from a 15 min walk to a 1.5 hr hike. I am a very
active person who enjoys hikes and camping.  

My Home

My home is a 1200 square food apartment, located in a neighborhood nearby to a hiking trail, two schools
and a 15 drive from may other hiking trails (my favorite being in St. Jacobs).
I open feed my cats with Simply Nourish using a slow feed and they have a water
fountain. I will typically have two feeding area if I have cat company or I am
traveling. My cats use scent free Arm & Hammer litter. I have 2 towering
cat trees, a scratching post and large windows that cats enjoy watching bird
from. I also have a LARGE abundance of cat toys. I share my apartment with my partner
Mitchell who is also an animal lover. He loves to walk, play and care for pet.
He is very energetic and more than excited to have some pet friends visit us.
He works part-time and near home, allowing him to have lunches at home. He is
also a full-time University of Waterloo Student, so he sends a lot of time at
home studying and reading.  

Availablity

My available is very open, as I work a routine schedule and it can be fairly flexible. I typically work
8 – 4:30, giving me plenty of evening time. I spend my weekends (Sundays and
Mondays) at home or on day hikes with Mitchell and would love to take a furry
friend with me. I am more than OK with boarding pets for a long deration of
time (1 – 2 months) or just for a fun weekend.
