Hello! My name is Lindsay and I love all animals, but especially cats! 🐈 I offer cat/house sitting services in Vancouver.

I love travelling and I know how important it is to know that your home and cat(s) are well cared for while you're away. I moved to Vancouver a couple years ago and I now have amazing repeat clients through this site and others which l means I get to have so many different cats in my life! (And so, so many cat photos on my phone 😹).

Services I offer:

House Sitting - I care for your pets while looking after your home!

When house sitting, I will follow your cat's regular schedule, including feeding, administering oral and topical medications (if required), providing clean water daily, regular litter box cleaning, playtime and just keeping them company. I can also provide basic grooming, water plants, and bring in the mail. I am conscientious about safety, security, and sustainability. I'm fully vaccinated and boosted, and I don't smoke. At the end of the stay, I will tidy up after myself. I work a hybrid schedule during the week, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets on days I work remotely and on weekends.

I have experience caring for various animals from my childhood, previous pet sitting, and volunteering opportunities. I have the following pet sitting experience prior to joining Pawshake: 2022 - Cat/House sitting for an indoor cat in Jasper, AB, Dog/House sitting for an elderly Yorkie (with meds) in Richmond, BC; 2021 - Cat/House Sitting for an Egyptian Mau in Vancouver, BC, Dog/House sitting for a young rescue dog in Kelowna, BC and a large elderly dog (with meds) in Whitehorse, YT; 2019 - Cat/House sitting for an elderly indoor cat in Edmonton, AB; 2015 - Dog/House sitting for a retired sniffer cocker spaniel in Australia; and 2013 - Rabbit/House sitting for an elderly rabbit in Yellowknife, NT. I grew up on an acreage in rural BC with cats, a dog, cattle, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. I also had fish and a hamster. I worked on a dairy farm while in Australia in 2015. I have volunteer experience from 2014 - WOOFing on an Alpaca farm in Germany for three weeks; 2012-13 - Volunteering once a week at Dogs with Wings in Edmonton.

My hobbies and interests include travel, yoga, reading, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding.
