About Khale
Hi, I’m Khale—a passionate pet caregiver with a fondness for animals. I had been caring for my own bunny for over 13 years and have supported a variety of other pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and rats for more than five years. Since joining Pawshake professionally in 2023, I’ve had the privilege of caring for pets with all types of personalities, energy levels, and care needs.
My experience includes:
• Supporting senior pets, rescues, and animals with physical differences (blind, deaf, or three-legged)
• Administering oral and topical medications (including cat puffers)
• Caring for animals with trauma histories or anxiety
• Providing enrichment and companionship for small animals such as rats and guinea pigs
Whether your pet is outgoing and energetic or quiet and sensitive, I meet them with patience and individualized attention.
I live in the dog-friendly Westhill area of Port Moody, surrounded by trails like Alfred Howe Greenway and Westhill Park, and I love spending time in nature with animal companions. I never take pets off-leash and prioritize one-on-one care, creating a low-stress, personalized experience for every animal.
I use Pawshake not only as a professional service but as a way to connect with animals on a deeper level and provide peace of mind to their humans. I feel privileged every time a pet is entrusted to my care.

🏠 Respect for Your Home:

• Litter box scooping and accident management
• Window and door checks to ensure safety
• Adherence to all instructions regarding security systems, pet rules, and house protocols
• No guests are ever brought into your home under any circumstances
If I’m unavailable, my fiancé Carrie-Ann—also a Pawshake caregiver—may be able to help.

🐾 Each day is built around your pet’s individual rhythm and comfort level.
Here’s what their time with me might include:
• Leashed walks—paced to your pet’s energy level
• Tailored enrichment—puzzle toys, fetch, tug, or gentle play (with toys you provide)
• Relaxation time—quiet companionship, cuddles, or calm supervision
• Feeding & fresh water—served according to your instructions
• Basic home upkeep—cleaning litter boxes, wiping paws, tidying accidents, and collecting mail
• Medication—given with care, whether hidden in a treat or administered directly
• Photo & video updates—sent through your preferred platform, with descriptive updates
• I offer solo care only, so your pet will never be walked or watched alongside others. This creates a calm, focused environment that puts your animal’s needs first.

Routine & Preferences
• Usual walk schedule and pace
• Furniture rules, crate or bed preferences
• Favorite games, toys, or enrichment activities
• Reactions to guests or unfamiliar people (especially if I’m joined by Carrie-Ann on hikes, with your permission)
Emergency Preparedness
