I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. Becoming a pet sitter feels very natural to me because I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust the person who is looking after your pet, and I take that responsibility very seriously.

At the moment, I don’t have a pet living with me, but in my family home we currently have four Huskies, who are a big part of our daily lives. Before them, we had many other pets, including a dog who was with us for over 10 years and two cats who have been part of our family for around 10 years as well. Throughout my life, my family and I have always had pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, birds, fish, turtles, and other aquatic animals. This has given me experience with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and care needs.

I also have experience caring for pets with medical needs, including administering daily insulin injections to a diabetic cat and giving oral medications to dogs. I’m comfortable handling cats with strong or moderately aggressive temperaments and know how to manage their behavior calmly, respectfully, and safely. I pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can adapt my approach to each pet’s comfort level.

Pets staying in my home receive attentive, personalized care in a calm and welcoming environment. I focus on maintaining familiar routines, providing companionship, playtime, and quiet moments, and keeping pets emotionally comfortable as well as physically safe. My goal is for every pet to feel relaxed, secure, and truly at home while in my care. <3
