Hi! I’m Joséphine—a 21-year-old architecture student, new to this platform, and a lifelong animal lover and dependable pet sitter/dog walker based in Montréal’s Milton-Parc. My friends joke that I’m “the one who beams at every dog on the street,” and honestly, they’re right. I’m happiest around animals and build quick, genuine bonds with them. I grew up doting on my grandmother’s dog and later lived with an amazing cat who passed away a few months ago. Caring for pets taught me patience, empathy, and how to help animals feel secure and loved. Now more than ever, I’m ready to care for your companion with the same compassion and respect—always adapting to their unique routines and personalities.

I live with my parents (who love animals almost as much as I do) in a house near Parc Jeanne-Mance—and a dog park—with a good-sized yard. I often help with my neighbour’s dog, bringing him over for backyard play. I’m usually the first person friends call to pet-sit because I’m reliable and calm, and I have plenty of room at home to accommodate visiting pets. I’m also proud to have taught a friend’s pup a solid paw-shake—something she thought he’d never master. I have hands-on experience with energetic puppies and gentle seniors alike.

I’m flexible with services: walks, stayovers (ideally up to 3 nights), and drop-in visits (feeding, fresh water, litter/poop-bag duty), plus playtime and cheerful photo updates so you can follow the fun. My goal is to lift stress off your shoulders, including being easy to reach for check-ins. I’m comfortable following detailed routines and can administer simple oral medications as directed. My availability is student-friendly this semester—I’m taking only three classes—so I have plenty of spare time!
