In January 2023 we moved to Nova Scotia as part of our next adventure. Before this we were living in the Netherlands where we were forutnate enough to meet lots of amazing pets and their owners. We enjoy working with Pawshake as pets are always most comfortable staying in their own home and we have made some very meaningful friendships as well.

I grew up on a small hobby farm just outside of Calgary and my husband (Mick) grew up just outside of Utrecht, the Netherlands. He is a Physiotherapist and I am now working full time from home with Threads of Life, which is a national charity providing support to families affected by a workplace fatality, life altering injury or occupational illness. We have a two year old dog that we bring with us on pet sittings. You can read more about her in my pets section! As well, we have a daughter who was born on July 1, 2022. As it is good for her to have some level of consistency, we prefer to do longer stays but understand if that is not always possible.
