Hello! My name is Gemma, and caring for animals has always been one of my greatest passions. With over 8 years of pet sitting experience, I love helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

About Me:

Before transitioning into a career focused on helping humans, I had the pleasure of working at The HBSPCA Animal Hospital, where I learned so much about animal care, behaviour, and wellbeing. My passion for animals has only continued to grow, and caring for them will always be a huge part of my life. I've had many different pets throughout my life, so I'm very comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals and personalities.

Home Visits:

I aim to spend around 30 minutes on home visits with your pet(s), making sure they are fed according to their routine, have fresh water, and that litter boxes are cleaned and maintained. I also have experience administering oral medications if needed. Beyond the essentials, I make playtime and companionship a big priority. I know pets can miss their humans while they're away, so I always try to give them plenty of attention and affection to help them feel happy and comfortable.

Dog Walking:

I currently offer local dog walks within my area. Walks are approximately 30 minutes and tailored to your dog's pace and needs, with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention along the way. I'll always ensure they have fresh water after their walk.

For safety and quality of care, I walk a maximum of 2 dogs at a time. Photo updates are always included so you can have peace of mind knowing your pup is happy and well cared for.

A Few Extras:

I enjoy capturing cute photos of your fur babies! As a pet owner myself, I know how reassuring it is to see that your pets are happy, safe, and enjoying themselves while you're away, so you can expect plenty of photos and updates throughout your trip.

I'm also happy to bring in mail, water plants, or help with other small household tasks during my visits. If there's anything else that would help you feel more comfortable while you're away, just let me know.
