Hi my name is Chantelle and I have been an avid animal lover my whole life! I have had many pets through my life including cats, small animals (Guinea pigs, bunnies, frogs, and geckos), and fish. I also dog sat/walked for many friends and family over the years, having experience with all sizes of dog (from dachshund to Newfie).

I completed my BSc in biology in Halifax and am finishing up my MSc in marine biology with a focus on animals! I am back in Mississauga while I finish up my thesis online. I'm so glad to have the opportunity to work with animals through Pawshake!

I have experience in animal care through volunteer work with Memorial University of Newfoundland, and experience with rescue pets, having a rescue cat myself. I have experience with dogs with leash aggression and walking multiple dogs at a time. I also have experience administering medicine to cats as my family cat has diabetes and gets 2 insulin shots a day and oral thyroid medicine. I love caring for animals, and would love to help out anyone with check-ins, walks, feeding, and other forms of care.
