ABOUT ME:

I ensure your loved ones are cared for in a professional and empathetic manner, tailored to your expectations. I understand the stress that pet owners can feel when leaving on vacation or even going to work for the day and having to leave their loved ones behind. Animal welfare and owner comfortability are of greatest importance to me and this is taken into account to ensure both pet owners and their best friends feel secure and have a pleasant experience. My priority is your best friend’s safety, health, and happiness.

I currently live with 2 cats (there were 3 but sadly, my senior passed away a few years ago). They were all brought over from Panama to Canada.

EXPERIENCE:

I have over 10 years experience with primarily household animals which includes caring for dogs, cats, kittens, rabbits, and chickens. I have also previously volunteered at a spay and neuter event in Panama (registering and weighing cats and dogs pre-surgery).

In my spare time, I volunteer in turtle conservation and coral restoration.

EDUCATION:

I completed my bachelor’s and master’s in Environmental Studies, with a focus on environmental management, ecology, conservation, and human-animal relations.

SERVICES:

All services include changing water, checking food bowls, cleaning litter boxes, and play. The following services are currently offered:

1) Drop-in day visits (single or multiple visits through-out the day.

-visits are 30-40 min. each depending on the customer's needs

-multiple visits are available throughout the day and can be booked simultaneously for longer visits/day-sitting in the owner’s home.

3) Dog walking

-walks are minimum 20-30 minutes each.

-locations of walks will depend on the owner's comfort level but can include the neighbourhood and local trails.

-please note I do not offer leash training for large dogs. This is to ensure safety for myself as well as your furry loved one.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

-Vehicle available to drive pets to vet or animal hospital in emergency situations.

(I do not offer transport for your pets for general check-up vet appointments UNTIL your pet is fully comfortable with me. This is to reduce stress and anxiety in you pet(s) and ensure their comfort).

-I do not offer boarding at this time as this may impact an animal’s comfortability and possibly safety (due to other pets in household).

Prior to meeting

- I request that owners please share any important information about daily routines as well as personality, behaviours, injuries, fears, or any other relative information pertaining to their pet(s). This information will help me to be more aware of any important factors and ensure pet safety. This will also ensure your daily routines are being followed and respected.

Monday - Sunday

7AM- 9PM (can be adjusted if needed)
