I’m Tracey. I am retired, active and love animals. I have owned dogs and cats almost all of my life, and I have enjoyed looking after dogs, cats, cockatiels and bunnies for family and friends. I have years of experience looking after and walking pets.

I understand the importance of keeping dogs safe during walks by being aware of the surroundings, particularly when passing other dogs. Many cats are playful escape artists. This means remembering to enter a house carefully, watching for where the kitty is lurking.  

Dickens is a large energetic shepherd mix that likes long walks. She is loving, sweet and gentle, however, she loves to chase squirrels and bunnies and does not like all dogs. Watching her body language helps me to anticipate what is ahead. Keeping her close while walking around the obstacles and gently talking her helps keep her calm.

AJ is an affectionate and playful tuxedo cat. He found me up north over a Thnksgiving weekend. He was about a year old and had been lost for at least few months. I couldn't find his family. He would not have done well on his own. He is extremely loving, and it took him a long time to really trust again. 

Animals are sensitive. They need a little time to get to know and trust their caregivers. I would like to meet you and your pet prior to walking or sitting to understand your pet’s unique needs and personality, but also for your pet to feel comfortable with me.
