Hey there, my name is Jonathan, and I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and birds! My first real pet experience was my family dog, whom I got to name Pele, after the late Brazilian footballer. This dog changed my family's life and made me realize the impact pets can have on humans. As for raising pets as an adult, I have lived with 2 cockatiels and 3 cats (two kittens and one re-homed senior cat). I am a big fan of the "Cat Daddy" and know that cats are not easier versions of dogs. My first kitten Nico sadly passed only two weeks after adopting him due to that nasty disease FIP. My other two babies, Zuko and Willow, are healthy and finally getting along after months of slow introductions. Zuko is a sweetheart but also a physical menace and needs daily medication for anxiety. Thus, I have a good method for administering the pills. I'd love to meet your fur-babies and hang with them while you're away!
