I grew up surrounded by animals and have loved caring for them for as long as I can remember—in fact, I practically learned to walk with a dog by my side! Over the years, I have turned this passion into a highly skilled craft.
From cats and dogs to birds, rodents, and reptiles, I understand the unique behaviors, sizes, and special needs of various species.
Prepared for the Unexpected:
Emergency Trained:I have extensive medical and emergency training for cats and dogs.
Calm Under Pressure: In urgent situations, I remain level-headed to assess the scene, check vitals, and place your pet in a safe recovery position.
Special Behavior Support: I approach anxious or reactive animals with a calm, open energy to respect their boundaries and build trust.
Hands-On Problem Solving:During a long-term sitting job, a dog needed to wear a protective sock over a paw wound but hated having it put on. Instead of forcing it, I distracted him with a favorite toy during the process and rewarded him with a high-value treat afterward. He quickly learned to associate the sock with a positive experience!
Services I Offer
I adapt my services entirely to your living situation and your pet's routine:
*Drop-In Visits (1 to 2 Hours):Perfect for feeding, play, and companionship. I divide my time equally to ensure every pet in multi-pet homes gets love and attention.
* Enriching Walks:Tailored to your dog’s energy level. Whether it’s a quick 15-minute sniffari, a standard 30-minute stroll, or a longer adventure, I go at their pace.
* Overnight House Sitting: Reliable, long- or short-term care right in the comfort of your home.
A Typical Day in My Care
A Typical 1-Hour Drop-In Visit
*0:00 – 0:15 | Greeting & Essentials: Fresh water, food top-up, and administering any required medication.
*0:15 – 0:45 | Play & Enrichment: Interactive play (like laser chasing for cats or tug-of-war for dogs) or basic puzzle toys to keep their minds sharp.
*0:45 – 1:00 | Wind-down & Snuggle: Quality cuddle time so your pet feels calm and secure before I head out.
A Typical 30-Minute Walk
*The Setup:A quick health check and secure harness fitting before we walk out the door.
*The Route:A mix of brisk walking for exercise and plenty of "sniffing stops" to let your dog process their environment.
*The Return:Muddy paws wiped, water bowl refreshed, and a quick post-walk treat!
Communication: Staying Connected
Leaving your pets can be stressful, which is why proactive communication is a cornerstone of my service. Here is what you can expect when you hire me:
*Real-Time Updates: I send a detailed update message every few hours during my visits or sits.
*Photo & Video Check-Ins:You will receive a steady stream of photos and videos showing your pet thriving, playing, or happily napping.
*Direct Access: I am always reachable via your preferred messaging app (text, WhatsApp, etc.) for quick check-ins or last-minute schedule changes.
Regardless of the service or the species, your beloved companions will be in safe, capable, and loving hands—guaranteed!
