Hi there! I'm Maia, and I'm from the East Coast of Canada (Fredericton, New Brunswick). I have grown up with pets my whole life, including dogs, cats and fish, and have always believed that pets have a unique ability to take care of us, just as we take care of them. That's why I believe that every pet should receive the best care possible. I currently have two cats, Cleo and Felix, who are almost complete opposites in personality! Over the years I've also cared for a variety of cats including a ragdoll, a maine coon, tortoiseshell, black-and-white cats, and an all-white cat. I have also had three dogs, including two Golden Retrievers and a West Highland Terrier.
Having experience with pets of different sizes, breeds, ages and personalities, I am comfortable caring for both smaller and larger pets, up to 90 lbs. I understand that every animal is different, and I'm happy to adapt my approach to their individual temperament, routines, and needs. I can administer oral medications, follow special feeding instructions, and clean litter boxes and kennels. I offer house sitting (up to 24h), two 30-minute home visits per day, and 30 minute dog walks. I am available most weekdays, both mornings and afternoons, and I am happy to travel anywhere in the GTA. I am located in Midtown, which also provides easy access to a variety of parks, including off-leash areas where appropriate.
