Meet your favourite new pet sitters, Leanne and Joshua !!!

We have been trying to make time to start a cat sitting company called Puddycat for the last few years , but we just haven’t had enough free time to get it off the ground. When I heard about Pawshake , I figured it was a great opportunity for us to start cat sitting until we have time to go off on our own.

We have two cats of our own, Howard and Timmy, so we know how stressful it can be finding the right person to watch over your animals. That’s where we come in. We are completely bonkers about cats. You might even say we are obsessed. When you choose us as cat sitters, you be rewarded with the piece of mind that your babies are in the best, loving , capable hands around. We will provide professional, reliable, trustworthy, top notch pet care in the comfort of your home. Not only are we certified by Walks N Wags Pet First Aid, but we both have our own cars in the rare case that your kitty needs medical attention.

We can provide in home visits for either 30 or 45 minutes, up to 3 x per day between 6am-10pm

On each visit you can expect::

Feeding

Fresh water

Treats

Litter maintenance

Playtime

Cuddles

Grooming

Administering meds (when needed)

Tidying up any cat frequented areas

Mail collection

Light and heating/cooling adjustment

Plant care

Photo updates either by text or email

We have tons of cat experience , so we know how picky and just plain weird they can be. We will always be patient and let them dictate what they do or don’t want/need. We will always keep a keen eye out for any behavioural changes so we can alert you when needed. As stated before, we’ll always have our cars with us just in case of emergencies.

We can also do overnights/house sits

A bit about us :

Leanne grew up in North Vancouver, where there was always at least one dog and cat. She ran her own dog walking company for 15 years , and also worked as a cat sitter for 4 years with Walks n Wags. She recently started working in film as a truck and cast driver.

Joshua grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, also always with cats and dogs. He knew from a very young age how much of an animal person he was, as nothing made him happier than to come home from school to his best buddies.

Both lifelong musicians , they met by chance one fateful night in 1998 after playing a show together here in Vancouver. After a very magical night together, they went their separate ways. 18 years later in 2016, after finding each other on Facebook, they reconnected, quickly fell in love, and got married in January of 2018.
