I go by BG (like the band BeeGees). I love Dogs and have been fostering dogs for a while. I do have good experience in understanding their behavior. I would be selective in taking the dog as i need to understand its background, but rest assured I could take good care of it and would love as one of my own. I have about few years in fostering with Calgary Humane society, Barcs rescue and others. I had a pet on my own long time ago but have been only fostering these days.

I work fulltime in IT. I do have the flexibility to work remotely hence usually I work from home to take care of pets.

I live alone in basement suite with a nice backyard in a quite neighborhood around beddington Calgary, and do not have any other pets in my house. When moving from states, i do need to provide a police clearence when coming to Canada. I would offer dogsitting and dogboarding services when available and welcome one or two animal at any given one time. I love dogs and I understand it would be a stressful change for them when their owners are away, so I help treat their anxiety by allowing them to trust me, and making sure they are at ease when their owners are away.

During pet boarding, I would keep a constant watch to make sure of their safety and well being. For both on boarding or day pet sitting I will walk them twice or thrice a day morning/noon and eve (for active dogs) and if the owners are okay to take them to dog parks I could help with that as well. Usual walks are about 3-5Km around my neighborhood along calgary pathways or playgrounds. I can also stay/sit with them for an hour or two after each walk so they could settle down after the walk. Also willing to take them on longer walks or hikes (if capable) as per request of the pet owner. The pets will be staying inside the house most of the time and during the night and but will be free to roam both inside and outside (fenced backyard) during the day. Water and food, Treats will all be provided and can provide medication as directed by the pet owners. I have security camera as well to help record and update status everyday if the owner wishes. Provided are photos for some of the spaces in house where the dogs can be comfortable, the sunroom, the backyard or safely indoor room next to a centralized heater inside.
