It's a process to get along but being capable to understand the needs and attentions your pet is looking for is what really matters. 
My fav are the bunnies or any small pet, but I like all the others too. I know that pets require  a time to get used to accept a new friendo but I think any relationship works liket that, so I try to make the most of that and enjoy spending time with them in order to earn their trust. :)
