Hi! We’re Penelope and Will — a pet-loving couple originally from Australia who recently moved to Toronto and are missing having furry companions around. We both absolutely adore animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes and personalities.

My partner Will grew up on a farm in outback Australia, caring for dogs, cats, chickens and even injured wildlife during rehabilitation, while I’ve spent years pet sitting for friends, colleagues and family. Since moving to Toronto, we’ve continued pet sitting regularly and love creating a calm, safe and affectionate environment where pets feel completely at home.

🐾 Services we offer
We currently offer:

• Dog/Cat boarding
• Doggy/Cat daycare/day sitting

We do not offer solo dog walking services, however dogs staying with us will receive plenty of walks, enrichment and attention throughout the day.

We’re experienced caring for:

• Senior pets
• Blind or anxious pets
• Pets requiring oral medication
• High-energy dogs
• Dogs with specific routines or dietary needs

We’re happy to accommodate your pet’s usual routine as much as possible — whether that’s medication schedules, crate routines, extra cuddles or slower-paced walks.

🐶 Walks & exercise
We typically do 3–4 walks per day for active dogs, with walks usually lasting around 45–60 minutes depending on your dog’s age, energy levels and needs. We also live close to parks and dog-friendly areas, including a nearby dog park for sociable pups who enjoy extra play and stimulation.

🏡 Our home & routine
We live in a pet-friendly apartment in Toronto in a neighbourhood full of dogs and green spaces. Pets are welcome on the furniture and are treated like part of the family while they stay with us. Note, we don't have backyard but we do have a balcony which we keep locked and had no pet door.

We only take a limited number of pets at a time so we can give them lots of attention, care and supervision. Typically, we only board one pet but can accomodate more if from the same household. We do not accept multiple bookings from multiple households at once.

Both of us work full time, however we mostly work from home, so one of us is almost always home throughout the day. On occasion, we may both need to step out for a few hours, but pets are never left alone for extended periods and we always ensure they’re comfortable and settled before leaving.

We can supervise guest pets most of the day and can provide close supervision for pets who prefer companionship or need additional care.

🐾 Sleeping arrangements
Guest pets are welcome to sleep wherever they’re most comfortable — whether that’s their own bed, a crate you provide, or curled up on the couch or bed with us.

🐕 Other pets & household
We currently have no pets or children in the home, making it a calm environment for visiting pets.

Please note that because we live in a pet-friendly building and neighbourhood, encounters with other dogs are unavoidable during walks and in common areas. For this reason, we ask owners to be transparent about any behavioural concerns, especially aggression or reactivity toward other animals.

Above all, we want your pet to feel safe, loved and relaxed while you’re away, and we’ll do everything we can to make their stay feel like a home away from home
