Hello! I'm Christiana and I would love to look after your pets! I am a huge animal lover and a cat lady at heart!
I am 34 and work for the BC government. I am lucky to work from home most of the time which means I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to caring for your furry family members. 
I am available early mornings, evenings after 5pm, and most afternoon lunch breaks. I am also available most weekends. I can provide home visits either once or twice per day. Each visit will be at least 30 minutes long, but I will aim for 45 minutes to an hour. I will scoop litter, feed your pet, play with them (or just keep them company if they prefer), administer any medications they need, and anything else that is part of their daily routine. I also have quite the houseplant collection and am more than happy to water your plants while you're away. 
I don't currently have any pets of my own, but I am a foster parent for Straight Outta Rescue Society. Prior to fostering I had my cat Ella for 15 years until she passed away in the spring. Ella was unfortunately very sick for the last 6 months of her life, but this means I am experienced in caring for animals with complex needs. I am able to administer oral medications and subcutaneous injectable medications, including fluids. I also have access to a vehicle in the event your pet unexpectedly needs to visit the vet or ER while in my care.
Although I am new to pet sitting with Pawshake, I regularly cat-sit for friends and family and I am confident caring for cats with different needs and temperments. In addition to cat-sitting, I am experienced with dogs and had two dalmatians growing up. I don't have a lot of experience caring for other types of animals, but I am open to learning!

I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and horses my whole life. I’m trustworthy, reliable and have a genuine love for animals and I’d be happy to take care of your loved one!I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to walk your dog or give attention to your animals. I do not have any pets, so I genuinely have a love for looking after animals as if they were my own. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment for your pet, and regularly walk through the Olympic Village dog park, seawall and numerous trails and parks on the daily. Your dog will be receiving the 5 star treatment as if they are staying in a hotel. It's located in a modern and spacious pet-friendly building in the downtown Vancouver core.I’m available to meet after 9 am on weekdays, up until 10pm. I will walk your dog(s) a minimum of 3 times a day for 1 hr+ if needed and can also provide them with treats (unless otherwise specified). For home visits, I'm available for either overnight stays or drop in visits for up to two hours at a time. I'm also available to water any plants and collect your packages or mail. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs that should be accounted for. I will be sure to note all of these, including dietary restrictions or medications.

I've had pets (cats and dogs) my entire life and loved every minute of it. I currently have my own sweet kitty, Figaro, who is still spry at 13 years old! I love him just as much as any human I’ve ever loved, and so I know how stressful it can be to leave your little creature at home while you go away. I'm happy to be able to provide reliable, caring service so that you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your baby. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me (even the grumpy ones warm to me eventually); I respect them as individuals and let them come to me when they're ready, rather than smothering them with pats and snuggles right away. I consider myself a very responsible, capable person--I’m a high school teacher during the day, so if I can handle my students’ attitudes, I can handle anything :) 

I am available for dog walking and drop in visits for cats and dogs. I am very experienced with cats (I have 1 of my own currently but grew up with cats and dogs), experienced with dogs and interested in all other animals. I'm comfortable with reptiles and insects also.

I enjoy the jobs I get on Pawshake because meeting new animals and having the chance to get to know them is one of my passions. Each animal has a distinct personality and I relish the challenge of anticipating their needs and wants, and building a relationship with them. Earning the trust of an animal is so rewarding.

Home visits and dog walks are 30 minutes. I will feed and play with your pet, as well as clean any litter boxes. I am also able to water plants/feed fish/collect mail/take garbage and recycling out, if those are things that need doing when I visit your pet(s). I sometimes take house sit requests, and those services include me staying with your pet(s) at your home and taking care of plants, receiving packages, etc, on a more in depth basis. 

I work remotely from home 8-4 Monday-Friday but am otherwise very flexible with timing of visits! I can pop by over a lunch break and visit in the early mornings or evenings as well.

I've just moved to Vancouver from Brisbane Australia, and would love to look after your fur-babies! I am 24 years old, and a stand up comedian. I moved here to live with my sister, and am loving the beautiful scenery and nature surrounding Vancouver. My sister is a veterinary technician, so if there's any problems help is not far away. I spend a lot of my free time walking and exploring, so I thought why not do this and make a few furry friends along the way! I have a lot of experience with animals, having grown up in a house/zoo with at least half a dozen dogs, cats, fish, canaries, guniea pigs, at any given time. I have experience with big and small dogs, having grown up with three Irish Wolfhounds, a Great Dane, and a miniature dachshund. 
I am free for house sitting and dog walking, up to 5 walks a day! Can walk for up to two hours in your area. I can also administer medication as requested. I don't have a requirement for vaccinated pets. 
I work as a stand up comedian, so I am free for walks all day and afternoon, and house sitting for long periods at a time. I cannot offer 24/7 care, but gigs are only a few hours at the most. I will make sure the house is locked up and secure, and will be there to care for your pets all day and most of the evenings.

I'm used to volunteering at Vokra and feel super comfortable around cats, even the shy/grumpy ones or the ones who need medical care.I also love dogs and walking them in our beautiful parks.
As a pet sitter, getting to spend time with all sorts of pets is always a joy. Whether it's playing fetch with an energetic dog or cuddling with a fluffy cat, each animal has their own unique personality that make them a delight to care for.
Another great aspect of being a pet sitter is the sense of responsibility and purpose that comes with the job. Knowing that you're helping to keep someone's beloved pets happy and healthy while their owners are away brings a real sense of satisfaction and pride. When I had a cat at home a year ago (she was a senior cat who passed away in February 2022), I was relieved to find pet sitters when I needed them on this very website. I'm glad to be able to return the favour!
And of course, being able to work at flexible times is great with the added reward of connecting with animals.

I've been offerring professional pet sitting for a little over 9 years now. In Alberta, I worked for a reputable pet sitting company, but since moving to Vancouver, I have been offering informal pet sitting and care to close friends.
