My name is Desi, and I've loved pets since I was a young child. Although I grew up among dogs, I definitely consider myself a cat lady. ;) I currently have 1 sweet, gentle 2-year-old Scottish Fold.*AT THIS TIME I'M ONLY BOARDING CATS AND KITTENS!* I am available to board all of your feline friends.As a digital nomad, I work 100% from home, which means I have plenty of time to devote to your furry friend. It will be no problem at all to keep your regular feeding/medication/play/etc schedule. I find routine to be key and very helpful in in letting your cats unwind and become accustomed to me as a caretaker and living in my home.Boarding your felines at my home means they will get lots of quality time as opposed to 30-minute cat-sitting-drop-ins. I live in a PH suite with 270-degree views of the city. So if your cat likes people, city, or bird watching, by all means. If your kitty doesn't find that flattering or at ease, we also have a "Kitty Suite".  I have a room completely devoted to boarding. It has a cat toys, cushy bed, a cat tree, panoramic windows to bird or city watch - everything your cats need to kick back and relax. The "Kitty Suite" also opens up into the living room/my home office, so they can hang with me all workday! If your cat's stay is extended, and depending on your cat's sensitivity to other cats, I eventually am able to offer for them to roam about the whole suite (my cat may be shy but is very kind to other felines!). I also have a balcony but if your pet isn't comfortable there, I can entirely alter and make the space as secure and cozy as possible. I thoroughly clean the "kitty room" between every visitor, and litter is scooped twice to three times daily. I look forward to treating your feline family as my own!

From providing cats' dietary requirements at the times they are used to, regular meals, fresh water, and a clean litter box to engaging playtime and plenty of cuddles, I will ensure that your cat feels loved and cared for during their stay.  I work from home and will be able to provide them with lots of attention and playtime.

Suggested activities:
-Playing with your cat with cat toys.
-Watching cat TV (e.g. birds, cats, or favourite show).
-Walking around the home/backyard (on request).
-Cat-stroller sessions to the park.
-Simply being present, gentle strokes, or cuddles,
depending on your cat's comfort level.
-Favorite activities suggested by the owner are welcome.

Suggested schedule:
8:00am - 8:30am Clean kitty suite, food and water bowls and litter box. Feed kitty and provide fresh water.
12:00pm - 1:00pm Playtime (e.g. cat toys, watch cat TV, etc.)
3:00pm - 4:00pm Snacktime.
5:00pm - 6:00pm Playtime (since night time is when kitties tend to come alive, I encourage e.g. entertaining cat-stroller outings to the park).
7:00pm - 8:00pm Clean bowls and litter and fill food and water for overnight.

Scheduling a meet-and-greet prior to booking not only allows you to assess my capabilities as your cat's potential caretaker but also gives me the opportunity to meet your cat and understand their unique personality and preferences. Additionally, you may let me know of any special dietary requirements/medication your feline friends require. I will also show you and your kitty their dedicated space in our home.

I have experience with brushing cat's teeth and giving subcutaneous injections, oral medication, topical medication, special diets and supplements. I am comfortable learning about/administering treatments I may not yet be familiar with.

For extended stays, please indicate if your cat does well with other cats (if known), and if you would like for them to integrate into my whole household. Knowing your cat's FIV/FeLV status is also appreciated!

If your cat has litter box issues, I will board your cat on a case-by-case basis (increased fee may apply). If you have a pregnant mama cat or a mama with a litter, increased fees will apply (please let me know the ages and general health of the mom and kittens).

If, for any reason, I feel that I'm unable to provide the level of care your cat requires, I will be honest and transparent with you. I will expect and respect the same, vice versa. Your cat's well-being and safety are my top priorities.

I have many years of animal experience including caring for my own pets, pet sitting and house sitting. I have always loved animals and greatly miss having pets of my own.&nbsp;
I am active and enjoy the outdoors, so I am happy to take dogs out for multiple walks throuhout the day. I have experience taking care of extremely shy/anxious cats and dogs with high needs.&nbsp;

making sure your pet is comfortable and happy is my number one priority. Being sure they have comfort items near by and their favorite treats on hand are a give in. I own my own car, which means I can take your furry friends out to a dog park or a hike trail to get rid of some nervous energy. Hi, I'm Lauren and I'd love to spend some extra time with your pets! I'm available most evenings, weekends, and holidays. Unfortunately, as I do have to work in an office (boooo!), I'm unavailable during weekdays. 
I grew up with dogs in my home, and have extensive fostering experience, but since I don't have my own pet at this time, I hope to walk and care for other furry friends. I also volunteer at the SPCA.
My general service area is East Van, but I can often accommodate service between downtown Vancouver to West Burnaby. 
Each home visit is 30 minutes. Dog walks are also 30 minutes, but with prior discussion, this can be altered if needed. I will update with photos and an update on every visit/walk. 
I'm comfortable with all sizes of dogs, and good leash manners are really important to me. I am comfortable with walking dogs who are training or need correction, if that is something that is important to you. 
I also have extensive experience working with reactive and fearful animals. As a former pet owner who used PawShake to find a sitter, I appreciated finding sitters who had this experience and level of comfort with my reactive dog. 
I enjoy running as well, so if your dog is accustomed to this, I would be happy to take them for a run. I also enjoy hiking and would be happy to take your dog to trails, hikes, and parks- rain or shine! 

Hello! My name is Kavya, I'm 28 years old and I'm an Indian girl living abroad with my husband and both of us are full time employee's working from home. Our building is pet friendly so we can take care of them without any problem.
Both of us are pet lovers especially with dogs, I I spent 5 years of my life with a French poodle and 2 rabbits, Unfortunately my rabbits passed away 2years ago and my dog is in India with my family. Being a pet sitter makes me feel better and helps me try to figure out that my children(rabbits) are now in a better place.
