Sometimes life can get really busy and you might find yourself a little short on time to walk your dog. Luckily with Pawshake, it is really easy to connect with thousands of pet lovers and find a walker in Thornhill who is available and waiting to help you out.

All of our walkers are vetted individually and every dog walker booking is covered by The Pawshake Guarantee so you can rest easy while they spend time with your dog. Additionally, your Pawshake walker will be from your local Thornhill neighbourhood and their profile also includes reviews from other pet parents.

Having a dog walker visit during the day is an affordable and great way to break up the day and make your dog’s day more interesting. Some of our walkers walk multiple dogs at once so this service is a great way for your dog to socialise and meet other similar dogs. However, if your dog prefers to be walked alone, you can also find Thornhill dog walkers who only walk one dog at a time. That way, the walks can be completely dedicated to what your dogs want – whether is a slow walk-and-sniff or a faster paced brisk walk around the block, our Pawshake dog walkers will be happy to oblige.

I have been an animal lover since day one. I grew up with my first dog being a lab sheppard mix and my second dog a bloodhound, so I have lots of experience with big dogs as well as owning them only grew my love for them. I currently work at a dog groomers as a bather and dryer and I love every second of it. I also previously worked at a doggie day care which was so much fun. I love being outdoors and going for long walks and to have your special fur babies join me would be the icing on the cake.
I currenlty work part time at the dog groomers as well as part time working at MAC Cosmetics as a makeup artist. I also work on film sets once in a while as a makeup artist as the jobs come around and would love to fill my spare time helping take care of your animals and taking them for walks and play time
As I live in a condo with no pets allowed, I would only be able to come to you for sitting or dog walking or whatever your needs may be. I also provide washing services if you would like your pet washed either in your backyard if you have one or inside in your bathtub.
As I work part time, my schedule may change week to week but I will always have a few days available. On my available days I can come to your home for either a morning, afternoon or the whole day if my schedule allows for it. The only two consistant mornings I am unavailable is wednesdays and fridays and the rest of my week chanches. If your dog requires a certain amount of time for walks just let me know and I will make sure that time outside is done. If you require house sitting or overnight stays I am able to do that as well and of course just depends on what my part time work schedule is for that week.
If there are any other home related services like watering the plants or bringing in the mail I can do that as well, just let me know. As well as if you have home security and woud like an alarm set or anything else when I leave your house, let me know about that.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you and your pets and hope to provide the best service that I can.

Having raised three cats and navigated countless bath times with my own 'liquid coworkers', I deeply understand what most cat parents struggle with - how to balance hygiene with their pet's emotional well-being.
Through trial and error (and some memorable scratch souvenirs), l've mastered stress-reduction techniques tailored to feline instincts: Home-based comfort
Home-based comfort - 87% less hissing compared to carrier trips
Scent familiarization - Using owners' smell and towels to create safe zones for cats
Paws-first approach - Mimicking mother cats' grooming patterns

Cat Whisperer Approved: 10+ years handling feisty/shy cats
| Custom approach: shower or sponge bath
Water temperature & airflow adjusted in real-time

What drives me isn't just cleaning fur, but preserving that magical trust when a nervous kitty finally relaxes into purrs. Every chin drip tolerated, every wary paw gently dried - these are the moments that prove in-home care isn't a luxury, but essential love in action.

Recently I have just take care of my neighbours dog, she stays at home for winter season, and we spent really good times. My just my neighbours were happy having their vacation with no worries about Simjah, their pet, but also I was super happy for having a pet at home.
I would be more than lucky and happy to have the chance of sharing time with your family member! You can be sure I will do my best to have your best friend happy and safe!

Hello, my name is Susie. I have a lifetime of experience as a pet owner, and have extensive experience caring for all types of animals. I currently have a middle-aged cat named Patchy, and previously had a cat named Princess who lived until she was 21 years old. I also used to have a Bloodhound and a Black Lab/Shephard mix, so I am very confident with dogs, big and small. My Bloodhound was a rescue and had many fears and medical issues, so I am used to caring for an animal with special needs. In addition, my Lab lived a long life and needed a great deal of care during her senior years due to arthritis, so I am experienced and compassionate about providing love and care to senior pets, as well as younger ones. During the pandemic I worked at a dog grooming shop where I washed dogs, and had a chance to work with many types of dogs, and made sure that they were as comfortable as possible while visiting the groomers.
I also worked as a Live Animal Education Facilitator for 15 years, during which time I provided educational and hands-on experiences for children and adults with a variety of animals, including mammals, ( ex. rabbits, guinea Pigs, rodents, ground squirrels, Sugar Gliders, chinchillas ) reptiles ( ex. lizards, geckos, turtles, snakes) amphibians (ex. Salamanders, frogs) birds, ( ex doves, chickens) so I am comfortable caring for pretty much any type of animal.
I have been a home owner for 30 years, so you can be confident that I will be able to take care of your home, just as well as I will care for your sweet animals.
During the school year I work as a supply teacher for preschool children, so I have lots of time to help you out, and provide you with the comfort of knowing that your pet/s are in very experienced and loving hands.

As a devoted cat owner and passionate animal lover, I truly understand the care, attention, and love our furry companions need. I’m 21 years old and the proud owner of an 8-year-old Maine Coon, so I’m very familiar with the unique personalities and needs of cats—especially the picky, playful, and cuddly ones! My cat has taught me so much about patience, communication, and creating a safe, enriching environment.
My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my deep love for animals and the joy I find in caring for them. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet behind, and I aim to offer peace of mind to fellow pet parents by treating every pet like my own—with kindness, respect, and genuine affection.
I have experience caring for cats of different ages and temperaments, and I always prioritize safety and hygiene. For the health of all animals involved, I only accept fully vaccinated pets into my home. I also have experience with medications and can provide it to your fluffy little baby.
