Hi! I currently live in Bloorwest village, though I grew up on a Christmas tree farm on the weekends around nature and wildlife. I've been around animals my whole life with dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and mice as our other family members and my dad being a veterinarian.I went vegan about 10 years ago after volunteering at a farm sanctuary for rescued animals. I have a cat named Xander (Buffy reference..) who is my world. While I would love to have a dog as well, I don't have the space currently for one. I currently work in retail, and one of the best parts of my job is when customers come in with their dogs! Animals make my life brighter and I would love to have dog walking be a regular part of my life.I'm a very detail oriented person so the more details the better when it comes to looking after your furbaby on walks. I would love to hear about their personality, likes and dislikes, any triggers they may have, so that they have the most enjoyable walk and their needs are met, and so that I feel fully prepared. Their safety will be my number 1 priority and it's important that your dog, you as the guardian, and myself feel comfortable and I feel knowledge is a key part of achieving that. If you would like updates on your furbaby I would be happy to provide them through photos and texts.My feet are my mode of transportation so I only take bookings that are under 20 minute walking distance of where I live.Safety: If you are considering hiring me to walk your dog, I would really appreciate if you have a photo of yourself and your pet so that I feel more confident that you are a real person. I have been taking care of my dog dog for 12 years now. He is a larbradoodle so a large sized dog and I have dog sat for friends dogs before which have ranged from beagles to Great Danes.

We will enjoy an exhilarating walk along the waterfront being sure to sniff every available tree, accompanying us will be my wonderful 12 year old dog ? during our walk we will work on sitting before crossing the street and receive loads of love. With over a decade of working with your pets in Animal Hospitals I'm now coming to your home to care for your pets! I graduated from the Sheridan- Animal Care Program with High Honours in 2014, and have extensive experience in veterinary hospitals as a surgical assistant. I now work from home, still within the veterinary field.&nbsp;Now that I'm not working within animal hospitals I'm only seeing my own animals. I love my pets very much, but I miss the variety, it was great to make new furry friends every day! Keep this between you and me, but cats are the best. Never tell my dog that.I'm comfortable with special needs, and elderly pets. Well managed diabetic animals are no issue here! Happy to give medication, either pills, or injections.I understand this is your family, and you can trust me to treat them with the same love and respect you do. I will follow the instructions you leave faithfully, and seek clarification if needed to ensure the best care possible. I have two of my own cats ‍, and a dog ! The cats have special needs; one has cerebellar hypoplasia and the other has an enlarged heart along with an autoimmune disease. My dog has anxiety and allergies. I love them with all my heart. As a result of having my own pets in a small space I do not take pets into my own home, I only do home visits at this time.For dogs if you require a visit that is longer than 30min (for example you have a dog with seperation anxiety and you'd like to go out for the evening), I'm happy to stay for up to 5 hours depending on the day.
