Hi, I've grown up with animals for most of my life,my first dog being a Labrador named Poppy! I've had experience taking care of my own dogs for many years. In the last year I fostered a cat long term who is back with his forever family. I have also a rescued a dog, Ace, who was from the streets of Mexico. I am currently a masters student at McGill University and miss my pets very much as they had to stay in the US so am looking to help take care of some pets! I have been petsitting since I was in high school both short-term and long-term and have over 5 years of experience with a range of ages and breeds. When I rescued Ace he was a puppy so I have trained him from a very young age and he is now a dignified gentleman who is loving, wonderful with kids, walks nicely, and is potty-trained. Je m’appelle Alison, j’ai 30 ans et je suis une véritable passionnée des animaux depuis toujours. Ayant grandi entourée de compagnons à quatre pattes, j’ai développé un lien particulier avec eux, ainsi qu’une compréhension naturelle de leurs besoins.
J’ai eu l’opportunité de m’investir dans du bénévolat auprès d’organisations dédiées au bien-être animal, où j’ai pu m’occuper de chiens, chats et autres animaux dans des situations variées. Ces expériences, combinées au fait que j’ai toujours eu des animaux dans ma vie, m’ont permis d’acquérir un réel savoir-faire, de la patience et une grande attention à leurs besoins spécifiques. J’ai également déjà fait du gardiennage d’animaux, un rôle dans lequel je me suis épanouie et qui m’a permis de renforcer ma capacité à m’adapter aux attentes des animaux et de leurs propriétaires.
Ce qui me motive profondément dans le gardiennage, c’est l’amour inconditionnel que les animaux nous offrent. Leur contact est pour moi une source de joie, de bonheur et d’amour illimité. Pouvoir prendre soin d’eux, leur offrir du réconfort et du bien-être pendant l’absence de leurs propriétaires est une manière pour moi de me rendre utile, d’aider la société, et en même temps de contribuer à répondre à un besoin essentiel.

Je travaille actuellement comme réceptionniste à l’Ordre des infirmiers du Canada, un poste qui m’a appris à être organisée et fiable. En parallèle, je vais bientôt débuter des études pour devenir assistante vétérinaire, car travailler au contact des animaux est pour moi une véritable vocation. Le gardiennage est donc une manière idéale pour moi de rester proche d’eux, d’apprendre davantage et de continuer à m’investir dans ce qui me passionne le plus.

Je m’appelle Mathias, j’ai 24 ans et je viens d’arriver à Montréal sans chien pour m'accompagner. Je suis donc enthousiaste à l'idée de devenir gardien pour vos compagnons à quatre pattes (uniquement pour chiens).
J’ai eu la chance de grandir avec un chien (Ugo, un Cavalier King Charles), puis de garder et promener les chiens de la famille (Roméo, un Bulldog Français, et Luccho, un Malinois). J’ai donc de l’expérience dans la garde d’animaux.
Je suis disponible pour des promenades et des visites tous les après-midis et en soirée du lundi au vendredi, ainsi que toute la journée le samedi et le dimanche. Je peux également venir garder vos animaux chez vous le week-end. J’habite à côté du parc Sir Wilfrid Laurier et du parc La Fontaine.
Pour garantir le bien-être de tous les animaux que je garde, je préfère accepter uniquement ceux qui sont vaccinés et en bonne santé.

I have 3 floofs of my own named Sushi  , Wasabi  &amp; Matcha ! My 3 cats are all vaccinated, spay/neutered and well cared for! My main priority is always my cats' health, so ideally I'd be most comfortable to cat sit for cats who also have their vaccinations up to date. That way, I can limit the risk of bringing back anything that might contaminate my space and impact the health of my cats, or my vulnerable foster kittens.&nbsp;
I'm a volunteer for a cat rescue and have fostered 35 cats and kittens up to date. So I have a lot of experience caring for and socializing scared cats.
I know how to respect a cat's boundary if they don't trust me yet and have the patience to gain their trust as well! I think this is important when cat sitting, since your floofs might be wary of me the first few times I do house visits.&nbsp;

Over the years I was spoiled to have many roommates who contributed to the liveliness of our homes with their furry friends and I've always enjoyed caring for the little (and bigger) guys!I've also had the chance to join many families, in Australia and New Zealand to give them a hand with their homestead, their pets, and around their gardens. These wonderful cultural exchanges were spread out over two-ish years and would usually last between 2 and 4 weeks, all the way up to three months in a lovely hobby farm near Hobart, Tasmania.Curious as I am, I learned lots through all of the above and most recently I have been having a wonderful time housesitting in New Zealand and Montreal across different platforms!

Je suis passionnée par nos amis à 4 pattes depuis toujours et ai toujours vécu avec un chien  et un chat, puis pendant quelques années j'ai découvert la vie avec un lapin  en liberté et j'ai vraiment adoré ça ! Je suis donc super à l'aise avec les animaux et c'est un réel plaisir pour moi d'interagir avec eux en tout temps ! Je n'ai plus d'animal chez moi en ce moment et c'est pourquoi je propose mes services ici afin de rencontrer et profiter de nouvelles boules de poils ! I am an assistant technician who works with blind animals everyday and has lots of experience with them. In my "free" time, I am on the board for an animal rescue in Cayo Coco, Cuba. I fundraiser, am I charge of adoptions, and go visit yearly to help build a bigger, safer sanctuary. I have worked with animals for the last 12 years, but have had pets my whole life and have been volunteering since I can remember. I am comfortable and have experience administering medications, and I am comfortable with animals who might not be as comfortable with strangers as we would wish. While working at the SPCA, I specialized in "aggressive" behaviour and rehabilitation. I have a calm demeanour, and am ready to take care of your pets as if they were on of my own. Unfortunately, I cannot allow other dogs into the house as Tony is quite territorial- but I am willing to walk or visit your home! I am motivated to join this app because I know the difficultly of finding someone to care for our fur babies when it's vacation time, or simply, when we need an extra hand. I also know we only want what is best for our little loves, and I promise I will give nothing but the best attention and care. Unfortunately, I cannot bring your pets home. Tony is a rescue and is not quite comfortable with strangers in the house. If it were urgent, I MAY be able to arrange something.
