I’ve taken care of my fur baby the past year. I’ve dealt with his skin care, grooming, and medication administration to help with ongoing skin issues and allergies. I am also an RPN and having these skills definitely makes me a better dog mom. I am able to assist with grooming, medication administration, walks, exercise plans, feeding, etc. I also have prior experience for 4 years dog sitting my boyfriend's pets (1 dog and two cats). My prior experience definitely helped me to navigate more than 1 pet at home. As of right now, I would prefer only taking your fur baby who is vaccinated (main vaccines like DHPP and rabies) to keep myself, other family members and my pet safe. My motivation to be a pet sitter is to help owners feel comfortable when their fur baby is at home and we humans have life to do (run errands, work, vacation). This is where I come in to help you feel safe and comfortable for your loved fur babies. Walks can go for 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on your dogs needs. Morning routines such as walks before and after meals to relieve themselves, play time, or training dogs to do basic commands. Emergencies can arise and it is important to contact you ASAP. My pet can be left alone for 8 hours max but your pet may need more attention and that is why I am here to help.


Hello! My name is Danielle but I also go by Dani or Dee and I am 28 years old. I live in Hamilton and love to be active and be outside. I love animals of all kinds and love going on walks. I am currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to love and care for the beloved pets of others. I'm very flexible when it comes to times and such. I have 2 chihuahuas and have had different sizes of dogs throughout my life. I am calm, kind, caring, compassionate, trustworthy, empathetic, sympathetic and I am very excited about this journey of being a pet walker/caregiver! Please message me so we can talk more!Walk length is 30-45 minutes but for larger dogs I can do 60-90 minutes. I would walk the neighborhood/area that you live in. I would follow any guidelines you give me as well as an area perimeter if the client so wished. I normally will have treats with me, so please let me know if there is something that your dog cannot have and/or is allergic to. I have experience walking large reactive dogs as well as caring for disabled dogs. I do not have experience giving IV medication or needles but I am more then willing and ready to learn.&nbsp;I will communicate with the pet owner throughout the walk, sitting or check in through text/whatsapp. I will include written info of what happened on the walknor visit as well as pictures and videos of your fur baby!

At the moment, I am not able to have a dog of my own, so pet sitting allows me to share my love for animals while helping owners who need reliable, attentive care. I offer daily walks that typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, breed, and energy level. For more active dogs, I’m happy to include longer walks and playtime to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. For senior dogs or those who prefer a slower pace, I adjust accordingly to ensure they are comfortable and not overexerted.
I understand that every dog has a unique personality. Whether your dog is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or needs a bit of extra patience, I adapt my approach to make them feel secure and understood. Pet safety is extremely important to me. I closely supervise all pets, follow feeding instructions carefully, secure doors and gates, and ensure leashes are properly fitted during walks. I only accept vaccinated pets to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone in my care.&nbsp;


I've taken care of pets especially dogs and cats since I was 7. My neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to sit, walk, train in basic commands, bathe, and feed their pets. I personally never had a dog or cat at home just because my mother was against it as it would be added responsibility on my parents if I had to work and move out which I understood. I trained many stray dogs and cats as pets and played with and fed them daily. I have also volunteered at BlueCross animal shelter for 4.5 years helping them with sitting, adoption, grooming, feeding, etc. of several animals like camels, eagles, donkeys, cattle, rodents, and birds other than dogs and cats. My home back in India is a mini bird sanctuary since 2019 where we currently house rescued baby parrots and several stray birds that visit every day for feed and chitchat. I consider Nature and all animals my friends and I know they consider me one too. Even though I'm new to Canada and don't own a pet while having walks outside dogs run to me as if they know me without former introduction.
I am currently staying as paying guest so cannot host a pet at my place. I can walk, house-sit a pet at your home and drop in on any day of the week as of now.&nbsp;
Housesitting includes me staying overnight at your home. Your pet may feel safest in their own environment, plus you have the peace of mind of knowing that a professional pet sitter is there to provide them with the best care possible. I always consider them my friends and love them as my own. Housesitting also includes at least two walks per day (30 minutes each), play and cuddle time, maintenance of your pet’s regular food and schedule, and oral medication administration. If your pet has additional or special needs, please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate them. Looking forward to working with you and your pet.
Few questions for the pet parents:
Please let me know as much as you can about your dog's personality, energy level, and specific habits. How are they around other people? How do they react to other dogs? While walking, are they allowed to mingle with other dogs?Also, let me know if you go away on a regular basis and how your dog has reacted in the past. Please let me know about any issues they have with food or any allergies. What kind of food do they like, if you have them on a regular schedule, and what do you give them in terms of treats? Their favorite toys they like sleeping with or playing with etc.Please let me know of any health issues and any medication they are taking. Overall, I want as much information as possible so that I can maintain your pet's routine and schedule while you're away and be able to take great care of them.&nbsp;
