Hi, my name is Meaghan. I love the outdoors, animals and long walks! My day job has become flexible recently and I thought it could be a fun opportunity to fill the time with dog walks and cat sitting. Growing up in a rural area, was surrounded by many pets and was responsible for their care, and now many years later would like the opportunity to have a little more contact with our furry companions. In the past I have done temporary cat and dog sitting for friends and colleagues, and I was a foster for cats at Vokra for a small period of time which I enjoyed immensely. I’m available to walk dogs 45-60min length and I am available for house visits for cats 30-60min I am flexible to what the pet owner would like for their cat. I am happy to send photo updates as requested by the owner. I'm located in east van and would like to offer services to this part of the city so I can better guarantee availability to pet owners. I've always had love and passion for cats since a young age, and have been volunteering at animal rescues centres such as SPCA and LAP (Hong Kong) since 2014. When I moved out from my parents' in 2020, I was so excited to welcome furry animals into my life to have that special bonding that owners share with their pets, and that's when Mochi and Mogu came into my life!

I joined Pawshake to be a cat sitter because I understand how cat owners just loveeee the opportunity to enjoy their vacations or need to be out of town for something important just as much as how they would want their pets to be comfortable at home having the reliable care they need. I also hope that petsitting would allow me to meet new cats and their owners and bond over everything meow-related!

Being trained as an architect as my profession, I would describe myself as observant, organized and paying attention to details. This is also my approach in being a responsible pawrent when taking care of my cats, from the way they prefer to have their food, to how to greet them, to how to clean out their litter box. So far my cats have not complained about their hooman's service... I'm sure I can help you out too!

Hi! I grew up in a home where we were always fortunate enough to have a dog. My wife and I have a friendly 2 year old Havapoo named Freddie that we absolutely adore and a friendly 6 year old cat named Ghost that is the best. They're the best friends. We both love cats and dogs, and animals of all kinds. We'd treat your dog as if they were our own. We have a fairly big house with lots of space and a completely fenced in and shaded backyard. When we're home we can leave the sliding door into our backyard open so your dog can come and go into the backyard as it pleases. I'd be happy to come by for daily visits to your home if that's what you're looking for instead. We would only take vaccinated dogs into our home and unfortunately cannot take another cat. I'm used to volunteering at Vokra and feel super comfortable around cats, even the shy/grumpy ones or the ones who need medical care.I also love dogs and walking them in our beautiful parks.
As a pet sitter, getting to spend time with all sorts of pets is always a joy. Whether it's playing fetch with an energetic dog or cuddling with a fluffy cat, each animal has their own unique personality that make them a delight to care for.
Another great aspect of being a pet sitter is the sense of responsibility and purpose that comes with the job. Knowing that you're helping to keep someone's beloved pets happy and healthy while their owners are away brings a real sense of satisfaction and pride. When I had a cat at home a year ago (she was a senior cat who passed away in February 2022), I was relieved to find pet sitters when I needed them on this very website. I'm glad to be able to return the favour!
And of course, being able to work at flexible times is great with the added reward of connecting with animals.

I am a passionate pet lover who loves spending time with my 4 legged friends. Happy to offer dog /cat walking and feeding them. I would love to take them for a walk or play with them in a park as they would get an exercise and happiness. I am very good at sensing their emotions and I would protect them at any cost.
I had dogs in my past and also cared my friends dogs whom I miss so much now. I cannot keep a pet at home due to a temporary reason.But I can house visit if you are out for a vacation or anything and feed them . Also I can dog walk too. During house visits I will change food/water bowls and have some play time with your precious pet. I'll also be happy to collect mail, water plants, if needed.

Dog walks are 40-45 mins (must provide own collar/harness and leash)

Usually dogs get very well along with me and I am confident that you can trust me with your dog. 

I am a Nurse by profession . but enrolling as a dog walker because I love them and I miss interacting with dogs like anything. So I think that would give you an understanding of how passionate I am about dogs.
