J'adore me lever tôt et partir marcher dès le matin. Être dehors fait naturellement partie de mon quotidien — votre chien se joint simplement à quelque chose que j'aime déjà faire.
J'ai grandi entouré de chiens, des Bichons Frisés aux Boxers énergiques, en passant par les Labs et les petits Pugs pleins de caractère. Je comprends que chaque chien a son propre rythme et ses besoins.
Mon approche est calme et structurée. Je m'adapte au niveau d'énergie de chaque chien et reste attentif à son langage corporel et à son environnement. Avec les chiens timides ou réactifs, je prends le temps de laisser le chien dicter le rythme — pas de pression, pas de précipitation. Si une situation imprévue se présente, je reste calme, j'évalue, et je priorise toujours la sécurité du chien.
Je propose des promenades individuelles pour garantir une attention complète.
Après chaque sortie, j'envoie un court message au propriétaire — comment s'est passée la marche, le comportement du chien, rien à signaler ou quelque chose à noter. Vous saurez toujours comment s'est déroulée la promenade.

I love waking up early and heading out for a walk first thing in the morning. Being outdoors is part of my daily rhythm — your dog would simply be joining something I already enjoy.
I've been around dogs my whole life, from Bichon Frisés to energetic Boxers, Labs, and strong-willed little Pugs. I understand that every dog has their own pace and needs.
My approach is calm and structured. I adapt to each dog's energy level and stay attentive to body language and surroundings. With shy or reactive dogs, I let them set the pace — no pressure, no rushing. If something unexpected comes up during a walk, I stay calm, assess the situation, and always prioritize the dog's safety.
I offer one-on-one walks to provide full, undivided attention.
After every outing, I send the owner a short update — how the walk went, how the dog behaved, anything worth noting. You'll always know how it went.

Hello pet-owners! We are a young couple who loves dogs and have a lot of experience taking care of them. We also have taken care of cats, both in their own homes and our home.The reason we would like to do more dogsitting is because it turns out to go extremely well together with our dog. Even the more shy or dominant ones tend to lift up when being around her. She never causes any problems with other animals since she is small and rather submissive. Therefore we even see it as an advantage to take care of dogs together with our own one. Of course, in some cases this turns out to be impossible, in that case it is also possible to take care of your dog seperately (we're with two). Enough about our dog, let's say something about ourselves.Currently we work mostly from home and we expect that to stay like that the coming future. We have sufficient free time and therefore like to spend as much as possible time outside and go for walks.When inside, we enjoy the company of the animals and they can be guaranteed of fulltime attention during the whole day. We both grew up taking care of animals like cats, rabbits and mainly dogs. Especially dogs always know how to steal our hearts so dogsitting always stayed part of our lives. We have watched over very different kinds of dogs, from big labradors to small maltezers and everything in between. Before having two children, in 2017 and 2019, I regularly boarded dogs with Pawshake. I welcomed over 100 dogs into my home over the years. Now with my young children in school I hope to continue this passion. 
I have worked in Childcare for 20 years, and am a Registered ECE with my CPR First aid. My years in childcare included 7 as a School Age head teacher, 1.5 as a nanny and the remaining in a Kindergarten/Schoolage class in Stittsville. My experience with children has given me a calm, patient demeanor and a desire to meet the varying needs of families.
Just like children, every animal has different needs and personalities. I aim to give quality, tailored care to the animals I'm responsible for.

Je m'appelle Arielle, 29 ans et je suis végétalienne depuis environ 4 ans. J'ai toujours eu une grande passion et empathie envers les animaux. Déjà enfant, je prenais soin et nourrissait des grenouilles, salamandres, écureuils, oiseaux, furets et bien sûr chiens et chats aussi. Je suis une personne très attentionnée envers les animaux et je m'assure de les faire sentir comme chez eux et à l'aise dans leur environnement. 
Mon chez moi
J'habite dans un appartement d'une chambre avec mes deux chiens au rez-de-chaussée avec un accès direct à l'extérieur dans le secteur Aylmer. J'habite près d'un parc à chien clôturé donc j'apporte régulièrement mes chiens socialiser et dépenser leur énergie là-bas. Je passe régulièrement l'aspirateur pour nettoyer les poils de chiens et garder ma place propre le plus possible. 
Mes deux chiennes
J'ai deux chiennes âgées d'environ 6 ans (Betty et Fluffy) qui sont très présentes dans les photos de mon profil. Elles sont très à l'aise et sociales autour des autres chiens et personnes. Elles ont chacune leur personnalité unique.
Betty est un mélange de Beagle/Husky donc elle a beaucoup d'énergie à dépenser chaque jour. Elle adore courir mais adore également s'enfuir quand une porte s'ouvre donc je prends toujours les précautions nécessaires pour éviter cette situation. Elle est docile et sait être tranquille quand je le suis aussi. Je cours régulièrement avec elle à l'extérieur. Je l'apporte aussi régulièrement au parc à chien clôturé situé près de chez moi (5 minutes en auto) et elle adore jouer et courir avec les autres chiens là-bas.
Fluffy est un mélange de Shitzu/Chihuahua donc c'est un chien très confortable autant dans la maison que dehors. Elle est très affectueuse avec les humains et aime japper pour prendre sa place auprès des autres chiens ou pour défendre son territoire. Elle est un peu timide au début avec les autres chiens et les personnes mais s'habitue et devient à l'aise rapidement.
Mon emploi du temps
Je travaille en tant que fonctionnaire en finance pour le gouvernement fédéral à la maison 3 jours par semaine et je travaille au bureau les lundis et les mardis.

My name is Arielle, 29 years old and I have been vegan for about 4 years. I have always had a great passion and empathy for animals. Already as a child, I took care and fed frogs, salamanders, squirrels, birds, ferrets and of course dogs and cats too. I am a very caring person with animals and I ensure to make them feel at home and comfortable in their environment. 
My home
I live in a one bedroom apartment with my two dogs on the ground floor in the Aylmer area. I live 5 minutes away of a fenced dog park so I regularly bring my dogs to socialize and burn their energy there. I like to regularly vacuum and clean the dog hair to keep my place clean as much as possible.
My two dogs
I have two female dogs that are about 6 years old (Betty and Fluffy) which you can see in many of my profile pictures. They are very comfortable and social around other dogs and people. They each have their unique personality. 
Betty is a Beagle/Husky mix so she has a lot of energy to burn every day. She loves to run but also loves to run away when a door opens so I always take the necessary precautions to avoid this situation. She is docile and knows how to be quiet when I am too. I regularly run with her outside. I also bring her regularly to the fenced dog park near my house (5 mins away) and she loves to play and run with the other dogs there. 
Fluffy is a Shitzu/Chihuahua mix so she is as comfortable in the house as outside. She likes to bark to take her place with other dogs or to defend her territory. She is a bit shy at first around other dogs and people but quickly gets used to it and becomes comfortable. She is very affectionate and loves receiving attention. 
My job
I work in a finance position for the federal government at home 3 days a week and I work from the office the Mondays and Tuesdays.

I used to walk and pet-sit dogs for 9 years in France so i'm used to it (i had to give medication to some of them so you can count on me if your baby is ill). 
I can walk your dog 3 times a day or pet-sit them at your house for the whole day if you prefer.

La décision de laisser son chien avec des inconnus peut être difficile à faire de nos jours. Tellement difficile que parfois on se prive de sortir juste pour eux. Vous n'avez pas à vous inquièter avec moi.
J'ai eu des animaux toute ma vie (40 ans) et j'ai obtenu des formations en comportement animal et en premier soins. Leur bien-être physique et psychologique est important pour moi!


Les chiens ont accès à une grande cour cloturée de près d'un acre.
Ils sont sortis régulièrement pour se dégourdir, jouer ou faire de l'entraînement.&nbsp;




Il y a un carré de sable pour creuser et des piscines pour les amateurs d'eau.
Une personne sur les lieux 24/7.Si votre chien est habitué à une cage, vous pouvez l'apporter. Je ne garde pas de chiens en cage sauf les exceptions où la famille du chien le demande.


Veuillez apporter sa nourriture et un bol afin qu' il puisse manger comme à la maison.
N'apportez pas de lit ou de couverture! Toute est déjà fournie sauf la nourriture et un bol. Si vous apportez des jouets ou un lit, vous êtes responsable pour la perte ou la destruction.
Aucun chien agressif, malade, avec problèmes de pattes (j'ai beaucoup de marches) ou mal propre n'est accepté.
