Hi, I’m Ingrid, a lifelong cat enthusiast with years of experience caring for cats of all personalities and needs. Having had cats my entire life, I understand their quirks, habits, and how to make them feel loved and secure. I’ve also provided cat-sitting services for friends and neighbors, for the last 5 years, so I know the importance of ensuring your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
Whether it’s dropping by your home for feeding, playtime, and litter box maintenance, or boarding in my cozy, cat-friendly home ( I currently have no other pets at the moment, but I have had 5 cats as pets since I was 10 years old) 
I’m here to provide the best care tailored to your cat’s needs. Being in between jobs gives me the flexibility to devote my time fully to your pet. As a mature and responsible caregiver, I take my role seriously and treat every cat like they’re my own.

I've been loving animals since I can remember. Growing up, I was the go-to around the neighborhood for friends and loved ones who needed their pets looked after, and that's only continued into my adulthood. I have taken care of the furry friends of friends and strangers alike (cats, dogs, fish, salamanders), and my longest live-in sitting job was for a week and a half (for two high-energy schnauzer-doodle mixes).
I am a student at MRU, and the vast majority of my day is open for house visits or walks. I am available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings - essentially just whenever you need someone to pop in. I'm also available for overnight care on nights that I am not working at my library job. My husband takes care of the house and our cats whenever I'm watching pets overnight, so all is taken care of on that front.
I currently have two cats of my own - Seth and Astrid - and they are the lights of my life. I've also owned Guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, and geckos, so I'm well versed in the care of small animals. I have experience with disabled animals (one of my cats is deaf, so I understand alternative methods of communication with animals), and experience with behavioural issues or difficult personalities (my other cat has extreme anxiety around people, so we have had to adapt our lives in order to help her be comfortable.) I also have experience walking reactive dogs, though I would prefer not to unless I understand their personalities and triggers better.

Howdy! My name is Vanessa, I moved to Calgary in May 2022. I love the mountains, road trips, camping&nbsp; and outdoor activies. I live in Bankview with my boyfriend and our senior citizen dog. Her name is Lili, she's a 14 years old chihuahua-daschund. I have always loved animals and have had a few growing up, cats, hamster, rabbit and dogs.
Me and my boyfriend started cat sitting our neighbor's adorable 3 cats. We loved going there to feed them, play with them, hangout for a bit and clean their litter boxes. She moved away and we miss hanging out with the cats and taking care of them! That's why I decided to become a pet sitter with Pawshake. I&nbsp;have taken care of numerous pets for friends and family over the years.
I currently offer cat sitting with visits available once a day. Services include refilling and cleaning food/water dishes, cleaning litter box, brushing them and playing with them. I will also send photos so you know your fur babies are well.
I'm also available to walk your small-medium dog for 30 minutes.
I would prefer if you're located within inner city,&nbsp; but feel free to send me a message to discuss other options. I'm mostly available during the weekends, Friday to Sunday.
